Touching the sky in Alta Badia
Alta Badia, which is also called Gadertal, in South Tyrol, is probably the best-known valley adjacent to the Pustertal.

South of Bruneck, the valley - with its towns and villages such as St. Vigil, Corvara, Kolfuschg, Enneberg, La Villa, St. Kassian, Pedraces and Wengen - leads directly into the heart of the Dolomites. The summits of the Sella Massif rise high above the scenery and invite climbers and mountaineers alike to numerous walks through the nature parks of Fanes and Puez.
Wintersports in Alta Badia
In the winter the whole valley turns into an enormous ski resort with 130 km of slopes and 52 modern ski lifts. From Alta Badia you can directly get to the famous Sella Ronda and circle the 40 km Massif of the Sellastock, always on your skies of course.

But actually it is the warmth and the friendliness of the inhabitants, the so called “Ladiner”, which makes the Gadertal in South Tyrol so special.
