Enneberg, a touristic mecca!
The little community with its rather remote municipalities Enneberg Pfarre and Welschellen is situated on the way in to the Gader Valley amidst the Dolomites and is particularly famous for being a splendid skiing resort in South Tyrol.

The community itself has only about 2500 inhabitants, but nearly as many hotels in Enneberg in the closest vicinity will give you a most welcoming reception. Despite the small populace, you will definitely not feel lonely or lost at any time. On the ski-lift going up the Kronplatz/Plan den Corones or whilst hiking in the abouts through open fields or strolling around the little village, you will always find run into people. The place itself which accounts for one of the oldest in Northern Italy bears an ancient parish church that dates back to as early as the 12th century. What would in this context seem more suitable than to enjoy a traditional ‘gnoc de zigher’ or a glass of wine? This one is for the rebels amongst you: Do not miss the chance to pay homage to the statue of Katharina of Spinges who in 1797 before being ravished by Napoleonic troops defended herself with a pitchfork. The bronze figurine dedicated to her is to be found in the centre of the village square.
