The Kronplatz is situated right in the middle of the Pustertal and rises gently over Bruneck, Olang and the Gadertal. It is not a wild fissured summit of the Dolomites, but a gentle and comfortable hill.
In the summer the Kronplatz is a paradise for hikers and bikers. You find family-friendly walks with a fantastic panoramic view to other summits of the Dolomites, keep-fit trails with physically demanding exercises, mountain restaurants with the typical food… what else do you desire?
In the winter the Kronplatz turns into a very entertaining area: 31 ski lifts, ski runs for carvers, for more experienced skiers, for people who enjoy the landscape … for snowboarders, for sledders. Especially snowshoe travellers can discover scenic spots!
