Embedded in extensive apple orchards in a slightly hilly landscape, Laas offers several interesting sights and attractions: beautiful medieval facades and narrow picturesque alleys which give the village a maze-like charm. The charming little village Laas is, however, famous because of its marble and its ancient marble quarry. The high quality marble from Laas not only adorns sidewalks and squares in the village itself but is widely used by artists and sculptors world-wide. As you can see, Laas in the Vinschgau Valley has much to offer to its guests.
