Luttach suprises! Holidays amidst glaciers
Luttach is situated in the heart of the Ahrntal (Ahrn Valley) amidst green fields and impressively high conifers. Luttach in a way is a ‘place of magic’ – the enchanting village separates two large valleys and is surrounded by 14 mountains whose peaks all tower above the height of 10.000 feet!

Splendidly reconstructed shops and plenty of opportunities to stop by and have a drink or a bite make the place ever more attractive and more and more popular.
In winter you will be spoilt for choice when you have to decide where to go for skiing: Facing the valley there is the Klausberg, in the opposite direction you will find Speikboden both of which offer excellent ski routes. If this is still not enough to choose from, you will get to Kronplatz/Plan de Corones in just about half an hour and of course you are welcome to stay in Luttach and spend your day here.
A visit to the Crèche Museum Maranatha is highly interesting and very romantic during Christmas time.
In summer Luttach makes an ideal starting point for trekking or a comfortable walk or even a long drawn-out tour from inn to inn. You can even go to a riding stable and explore the surroundings on horseback. For the more adventurous type among you, a rafting tour may well be more enticing to make your holiday in Luttach a truly unforgettable memory.
Talking about wild waters and water falls – have you ever had the chance to actually walk through them? Whatever kind of activities you prefer, Luttach at any rate has more than enough leisure pursuits to offer, so that your vacation will certainly turn out to be a memorable experience during any time of the year.
