Holiday from every day life in Niederdorf
Amidst the most scenic valley Hochpustertal lies the little village of Niederdorf which has already been a centre of tourism for quite some time. By running her hotel ‘Emma’ through hard work and with great industriousness, Emma Hellensteiner was largely responsible for bringing in flourishing tourism to the area.

Her reputation soon began to reach far beyond the area and has since attracted quite a number of visitors to the area. In the meantime the hotel has become a museum for tourism which you should not give a miss when you come to South Tyrol. Recent developments have made Niederdorf in South Tyrol a very quiet place, predominantly because of a ring road around the place that has kept traffic down ever since.
Nowadays the village is a serene, yet easily accessible point of excursions where you can expect a holiday without stress, clean air and many other attracting places within comfortable reach. There is a bicycle path running into the valley on pretty much the same route that the winter cross-country ski track follows. If you happen to be more into alpine skiing then you will find the nearby skiing resorts of Haunold, Helm and Rotwand very attracting.
During summer you can stop off at a close by river and refresh your feet in the water or simply walk along some trekking paths to keep yourself in shape. Your hotel in Niederdorf in South Tyrol is waiting for you!
