Skiing and hiking in Obereggen
Obereggen in South Tyrol is especially famous for being a great skiing resort: there are innumerable slopes ranging from easy beginner’s routes to professional racing tracks.
Even in spring there is a thick layer of snow covering the rock faces of Mount Latemar and you will surely take pleasure in racing down black, red or blue slopes. You should of course give neither a stay in one of the cosy skiing huts, where you can relax your muscles or have a drink, nor the ‘après ski’ afterwards a miss. Just let yourself go, so that you’ll feel fit again the next day.
Beside the skiing resort, you will also find spectacular cross-country skiing slopes that stretch across wonderful meadows and fields of snow. Apart from alpine skiing and cross-country skiing, there are also plenty of other activities on offer, such hiking, trekking, mountaineering, cycling, Nordic Walking or snowshoe wandering. At any rate, you will be fit for fighting after a vacation in a hotel in Oberregen!
