Great holidays in Olang
Located on the most scenic side of the Kronplatz/Plan de Coronesis what the locals have to say about the setting of Olang, and you indeed have an excellent view on not only the Kronplatz, but also the Hochalpenkopf, den Maurerkopf, den Piz da Peres; all of which are wonderfully suited for a challenging hike uphill or a comfortable walk at the foothill or through the valleys.
In winter a free-of-charge shuttle will take to the finest skiing slopes in the whole of South Tyrol and take you back to your cosy hotel where you can treat yourself to some well deserved enjoyment. During summer you can not only get pleasure from the fragrance of the refreshing mountain air, but also from the scent of the excellent traditional South Tyrolean cooking. You are of course welcome to have a bite or two at any of the booths that offer true delicacies.
If you happen to prefer fluid specialities then there is nothing like the Olang Wine Fare which takes place in August on an annual basis. Invigorated like this, it will be tempting for you to either hire a mountain bike and explore the woods and mountain pastures where can stop by and watch the farmers make cheese (of which you can by the way also ask for a taster) or even feel like giving him a hand with the haymaking. Alternatively it is very attracting to just follow the well-developed cycle path to Lienz or Bruneck.
Come to enjoy the propinquity of the Dolomites and experience the well-preserved customs and traditions during your stay in Olang. Here you will find an entire range of hotels to choose from: Plain family guesthouses, even farms, or a luxurious four-star hotel will gladly offer you accommodation. There is nothing that you cannot find in Olang and there is nothing that compares to a holiday in South Tyrol
