Take pleasure in the magnificent panorama, pay the cultural capital of Merano a visit or enjoy the tremendous view from the peaks of the Texelgruppe. Stroll along the Waalwege where you can admire the irrigation system from days past, try one of the wonderfully scented apples or go to a traditional festival, where you will be served local specialities and of course fresh wine. A visit to the Partschins Waterfall is an absolute must, if you ever happen to be in the abouts, but the sight is unforgettable: from over a hundred yards height the water thunders downhill with its unlimited power.
Should you find this not all that impressive and the area not all that enchanting, you may well be interested or even fascinated by the local museum which hosts the first typewriter. Peter Mitterhofer, arguably the most famous Partschinser, did mankind a great service, when he ingeniously invented it back in 1864.
