The Pustertal is also the lung of South Tyrol, because nowhere is the air as clean and fulfilled with the scent of mountain flowers as here. A cool breeze relieves you of hot summer temperatures. The whole Pustertal is a walking paradise for experienced and less-experienced mountaineers alike. Every year the “Drei-Zinnen” -marathon takes place. This marathon demands a great deal of the experienced mountaineers. Also the most difficult bike-race of the Dolomites takes place in the Pustertal: The “Dolomiti Superbike”.
But besides all the sportive activities like paragliding, riding, skiing, swimming, rafting and ice-climbing, the city of Bruneck offers a vibrant nightlife as well. During the day you can stroll through the Old Town, but at night you can experience the city from another point of view with all the hip and chic young people.
