King Laurin and Rosengarten/ Latemar
Who does not know the “Enrosadira”-phenomena from postcards? And who can explain this breathtaking spectacle of nature?

King Laurin, once king of the dwarves of the Latemar, loved nothing as much as his beautiful rosery. But because of anger and frustration he uttered a spell that the flowers cannot be seen at night and in the day. But he forgot the dusk and the dawn. Therefore we can see Laurin’s rosery every morning and evening.
Come and see yourself! You owe to yourself a few days of fascinating mountain scenery, with many walks and possibilities to go climbing up the Latemar or the Rosengarten, or in the Eggental with its beautifully decorated and traditional farmhouses.
Winter
In the winter you can go skiing in the ski resorts Obereggen or Latemar. It’s also possible to go sledding in the moonlight or cross-country skiing; or just enjoy your time in the area of the Latemar and Rosengarten in South Tyrol.
