The view from the Ortler extends over the whole area right up to the Dolomites in the East and the Swiss glaciers in the West. Up there, amidst ice and snow, you’ll feel like the king of the world! In winter this hiking paradise turns into a skiing and snow boarding heaven. Endless kilometres of slopes as well as traditional places for lunch or après ski make Sulden very attractive.
Apart from this, Reinhold Messner has built one of his mountain museums in Sulden. The formation of glaciers and the history of the ascent of the Ortler are illustrated in underground galleries.
