Terlan is famous because of the delicious asparagus. In spring Terlan and its restaurants organize gastronomic weeks while everyone can enjoy the asparagus-specialties.
In summer however many museums want to be visited: for instance the Messner Mountain Museum at Sigmundskron Castle. Sporty vacationers can make rewarding excursions or mountain bike tours.
Lovers of wine visit Terlan in autumn, when the grape harvest begins. The vine growers of Terlan produce the great Terlan Sauvignon a first class wine. Taste it during typical harvest festivals and evenings!
