Das reichhaltige Frühstücksbuffet mit frisch zubereiteten Eierspeisen, knusprigem Brot vom Dorfbäcker und vielen weiteren kulinarischen Leckerbissen sorgt für einen guten Start in den Tag. Nice place to stay in however just a little info- the second pool with jacuzzi where people go completely naked in. Wouldn't be a problem but if you come with swimming shorts they look annoyed not that pleasant to be honest.(one pool is normal) The restaurant and staff are top class . Food is top class.

We keep coming back to the Terentnerhof and enjoy the absolute perfection in every aspect. The Engl family and their entire team create a truly relaxing atmosphere with so much passion and attention to detail. All the staff are incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly. We've had the pleasure of experiencing wonderful sauna infusions, and the entire program of fitness classes, sound bowl meditations, and more is unparalleled. E-bikes, guided hikes – the options are vast.
The spa area is a dream, with plenty of loungers, an infinity pool, a large whirlpool, saunas, and an ice plunge pool.
The food is absolutely fantastic – whether breakfast or dinner. You can truly feel the attention to detail in every little moment, and that makes every stay so special. We're looking forward to being guests again on November 30th.
The attention to detail that the entire team puts into this place is truly remarkable. ️

We spent our honeymoon at the Hotel Terentnerhof – and it was simply wonderful!
We stayed here two years ago and knew immediately that we wanted to return. Since then, the spa area has been expanded and some renovations have been made – everything is even more beautiful now!
The service is exceptionally attentive: We were pampered with little surprises every day and felt completely at ease. The food is excellent, and the entire team is warm and professional. You can tell it's a family-run business with heart – you don't feel like just a number, but truly welcome.
Thank you so much for the unforgettable days – we will definitely be back!

Thank you! Thank you for a wonderful stay, 10/10. The arrival was marked by such attention to detail, and the entire property is modern and beautifully furnished. Breakfast and dinner were truly exceptional, from the morning buffet with everything one could wish for, to the many à la carte dishes in the evening, which included a fantastic and incredibly delicious menu. In general, great care is taken with the ingredients, and this is a real difference compared to many other hotels. The owner's wine recommendation was simply top-notch, thank you! The wonderful aromas throughout the hotel are simply superb, and you feel completely at ease. We will definitely be back! And for those who love wellness, this is the perfect place for a relaxing time with a stunning mountain panorama.

We had an exceptional stay at the Terentnerhof! Everything was perfect – you can feel the family-run atmosphere everywhere you look. Warm and welcoming hosts, attentive service, and a relaxed ambiance. The hotel's modern style is impressive – the interior designers really outdid themselves!
For meals, we could choose from three different set menus, which could even be combined – almost like ordering à la carte. The spa area with its infinity pool and spacious sauna complex is fantastic, although there are a few loungers.
A big thank you to our hiking guide, Klothilde, for the wonderful hike with wine tasting, and to our waiter, Giovanni, for the impeccable service. We felt completely at ease and would love to come back!

Our stay at this wonderful wellness hotel was simply perfect! From the moment you arrive, you feel the warm, inviting atmosphere – elegant, tranquil, and designed with meticulous attention to detail.
The food was an absolute highlight: fresh, creative, and incredibly delicious. Every dish was not only a culinary delight but also beautifully presented. We would especially like to commend the outstanding table service – attentive, warm, and always with a smile. You can immediately tell that this is a well-run family business, managed with genuine passion and heartfelt hospitality.
The drinks at the bar were also excellent – from classic cocktails to sophisticated signature creations, all perfectly prepared and beautifully presented.
The sauna area particularly impressed us: spacious, elegant, and stylishly designed. A variety of saunas, thoughtfully designed relaxation areas, and thoughtful touches like aromatic infusions and cozy blankets ensure pure relaxation.
Overall, our stay was a truly wonderful break – an oasis of peace, relaxation, and genuine hospitality. We will definitely return and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to treat themselves to something truly special!

Room: Clean and cozy. With mountain views, simply fantastic. The in-room sauna, if available, reaches up to 65C, which takes a little while to heat up, but that didn't bother us.
GYM: Well-equipped Technogym gym with everything you need for a full workout. A second weight bench would be nice, though.
Pool and SPA Area: Very comfortable loungers. Great indoor/outdoor pool with panoramic views. Lovely saunas. Unfortunately, there weren't enough loungers for everyone in the afternoon. We had to leave once because there was no space. A shame, considering we were paying for it.
Breakfast: Simply wonderful. The selection, quality, and taste were consistently excellent.
Dinner: Great menu selection. We were always very satisfied! We also really liked the wine list. The prices are very fair.
Bar: Creative signature cocktails and classic drinks. Everything perfectly prepared. The prices here are also more than fair.
Service: Friendly, attentive, and courteous. We were happy to leave a generous tip.
Location: Despite being on a road, it's very quiet. A hiking trail runs directly adjacent to the hotel. Larger tourist destinations are about a 40-minute drive away. The bus station is a 5-minute walk.
I do have one point of criticism regarding the spa. My girlfriend had booked a massage, but it was performed by a man, which she didn't particularly like. This should have been clarified beforehand. Also, my name, not hers, was on the booking, which may have caused the problem.
All in all, I can still recommend the hotel to everyone.

Visiting as a couple for a relaxing wellness weekend!
The reception was very friendly; we were immediately informed about the facilities, the rooms, procedures, and other information. The friendliness of the receptionist extends throughout the hotel; you are greeted warmly everywhere, even the cleaning staff greets you politely and smiles!
Arriving at the room, you find a very clean, modern, and lovingly decorated room! We thought the bed layout was really cool, something different!
Sauna bags with slippers and towels were already prepared in the room! The view -> simply fantastic, overlooking the South Tyrolean mountains.
The wellness area is a true oasis of well-being, with great rooftop pools with whirlpool function, great comfortable loungers both inside and out, truly fantastic saunas and a steam bath, towels are provided, and there's a fantastic tea and drinks bar. I also want to mention that Stefan's infusions were simply amazing, from very cozy to really hot infusions with musical accompaniment! I've rarely experienced such wonderful infusions! Compliments! In the afternoon, there were even small snacks like chestnuts, smoothies, and fruit, which the staff brought directly to the loungers! Very attentive!
The cleanliness of the wellness area extends throughout the entire hotel; we really noticed how clean everything is! TOP-NOTCH!!
The culinary selection, from breakfast to the afternoon snack to dinner, is fantastic! You can tell that the service and kitchen staff put a lot of effort into it! Everything, absolutely everything, was incredibly delicious! The menus are well-chosen, and there's something for everyone!
You can then round off the evening at the cozy hotel bar with a huge selection of drinks; there are very comfortable seating areas. A big compliment also to the waitress Anna Lena, I think that was her name! Very friendly and accommodating!
I found the price-performance ratio to be almost unbeatable. From the service to the evening menu, wellness area, breakfast,... TOP!
We travel a lot and regularly stay in good hotels, so we've seen a lot! We can only praise the owners here; we felt truly at home and will definitely come back!

Today is the last day of our wonderful vacation at the Terentnerhof.
We've had some eventful days, during which we enjoyed the exceptional friendliness and service of the family and their staff.
We particularly enjoyed the high-quality and delicious breakfast buffet and the fantastic and very varied evening menu. Pure enjoyment, accompanied by very attentive service.
We went on some great tours with our hiking guide, Klothilde.
Afterwards, we relaxed in the wellness area with its fantastic offerings, such as the rock infusion in the event sauna.
We're already looking forward to returning.

A few days before our arrival, we received a call asking if there was anything they could do for us in advance. This attentive, guest-focused approach was also evident during our stay.
The feel-good factor was complemented by the lovingly, cozy, and harmoniously furnished room, the stunning spa area, and the excellent breakfast and dinner. The entire hotel complex was clean and well-maintained, and the view of the greenery and mountains left nothing to be desired.

Great service, super friendly staff, the best breakfast cereal selection I've ever experienced, a fantastic juicer for making your own, and wonderful rooms. The rooftop pool is a dream, as is the adjacent spa area. I would especially like to highlight the passion of the sauna masters during the infusions. The five-course evening meals were always delicious, varied, and presented with attention to detail. Overall, you can say that everything here is conceived and executed with heart and eye, with particular consideration and taste. We would love to come back!

This is not your typical 4 star hotel! Amazing attention to detail in everything they do, great service and amazing food. Both breakfasts and dinners are abundant, and change dialy. The desserts especially were something to write home about! Rooms are cosy yet spacious, large bathrooms, very clean and most importantly quiet. Loads of places to lounge around the hotel itself, and gorgeous views.

From arrival, with a pleasant welcome drink and a small, typical Tyrolean snack, to a fantastic 5-course dinner, everything was perfect. There are 3 different menus to choose from, but you can also mix and match them and create your own dishes. The vegan menus are very good; kudos to the kitchen.
The wellness area is simply relaxing. The relaxation areas offer various beautiful views. The wellness area, including the snack/tea bar, is very clean.
The interior is particularly noteworthy. It has been decorated with great attention to detail.
This will be the first hotel we will return to.

This is our second visit to this wellness hotel in the Pustertal Valley. Located on a quiet road, it's a wonderful place to relax. The food is excellent, the staff friendly, and the tours organized by Klothilde from the hotel are consistently enjoyable. The sauna infusions are second to none – Martin and Günter, you're the best. I recommend booking a Junior Suite; the small surcharge is worth it.
Update: After the expansion, the wellness area is even nicer than before. The range of activities has also been expanded. There's yoga, singing bowl meditations, and herbal walks in the surrounding area. Julian, Sabrina, and Stefan now lead the infusions. Everyone has their own style, and it's always wonderful.

Beautiful, elegant, clean, welcoming. I spent a truly relaxing week enjoying excellent service, a Michelin-starred restaurant, and a huge spa. All immersed in a vast valley where the sun is a cheerful companion. And then there were the excursions with the wonderful Hans and Klothilde, including trekking and e-biking through the woods and mountains. Highly recommended. See you next year, and thank you again.

There are stays you remember, and then there are experiences you cherish forever. Our time at the Terentnerhof belongs to the latter category: a blend of thoughtful touches, surprises, and small gestures that made every moment unforgettable.
The owners, with their genuine professionalism and rare attention to their guests, made us feel like we were part of a special story. We celebrated our birthdays surrounded by exclusive care: from the cake with candles to the toast with bottles of prosecco in our room, from the refined and meticulously curated decor to the delicate chocolates that greeted us sweetly. Every surprise tasted of sincere care.
But the gesture that touched us most was the one given to my partner when she wasn't feeling well: a get-well card and a tray of fresh fruit showed us that hospitality here isn't just a service, but a true calling. To top it all off, a cuisine that verges on starred excellence: refined dishes, impeccable presentation, and top-quality ingredients. And the spa, pools, and the entire facility surpass anything we've seen so far in similarly caliber establishments.
Words cannot express our gratitude: this hotel not only deserves its fifth star, but stands out for its unique soul. Heartfelt thanks to the owners and all the staff: you managed to transform a stay into a precious memory, one we will always cherish.

I'm speechless and incredibly excited.
Arrival:
We were greeted very warmly at reception. Our luggage was brought to our room, then a welcome drink was served, and we received a small information brochure to get an overview. A small snack was also served. Simply top-notch and excellent service.
Room:
Our luggage was already in our room. The rooms were well-equipped and spotlessly clean. The size was absolutely adequate and the decor was great. Plus, a large balcony with a view of the valley. Room 208 was incredibly beautiful.
Wellness:
On the 4th floor with an indoor and outdoor pool. Everything was top-notch and very cozy. A fantastic view from the front pool towards the valley. The relaxation room was very comfortable and had great loungers. The sauna and steam room were very nice and well-maintained. Up on the roof, there's a whirlpool with loungers. The pool was very nice and warm.
The massage ladies did a fantastic job. We had three treatments each with three ladies, and they were all very friendly and really pampered us.
Food:
Breakfast is served as a buffet, and several dishes from the menu can be ordered free of charge. Never seen it like this before. The buffet is small but fine, and you can find everything you want. In the evening, there's a 5-course menu with three options to choose from: vegan, traditional, and modern, plus a few à la carte dishes that you can order. You can also mix and match. Super cool. The food is top-notch. All the dishes were beautifully presented and very, very tasty. Kudos again to the chef and his team. We couldn't find anything we didn't like. 6 stars here, actually. Please keep it up.
Service:
We had Tom as our waiter – absolutely courteous and always trying to anticipate our every need. A casual joke and always a recommendation ready. We felt incredibly comfortable with you and were always well looked after. We'd happily give this 6 stars and more.
Hotel:
Super modern and absolutely 4-star-plus. The entire staff was very friendly and very helpful. I would give this 6 stars, too.
We even had a quick chat with the owner upon departure. We already shared our praise with her and booked again straight away. Please keep it up – an absolutely successful concept with fantastic staff. You don't see that often in the hotel industry anymore.

From check-in to check-out, everything was great!
But a little more specifically…
Upon arrival, we received an aperitif and a snack.
We received an upgrade to two double rooms during our trip: our friends to a suite with a sauna in the garden, and we had more space! We were able to spend the last night in a luxury suite. Thank you so much!
Breakfast was a large buffet selection, much of it homemade and prepared with love. A nice bonus: coffee in all varieties, with milk and non-milk options, something for everyone. You can also order fresh egg dishes, sweets, and pancakes to your liking, whatever you like!
The wellness areas are very clean, and there's more than you need. Water, tea, and snacks are always available.
You can also order drinks for the pools. Many thanks to the daytime service staff! Very friendly and uncomplicated!
In the evening, there are three menus to choose from, but everyone can mix and match, plus a salad and appetizer buffet.
If you enjoy wine, you'll find something to suit every taste on the menu.

Our days at the Terentnerhof were simply unforgettable – from the first minute we arrived until our departure, everything was just right. This hotel wonderfully combines stylish hospitality, a warm atmosphere, and the highest level of comfort.
Reception & Atmosphere
Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine, snacks, and warm, pleasantly scented towels: a loving gesture that immediately made us feel relaxed and at ease. The entire hotel exudes a subtle, pleasant fragrance that makes you feel like you've arrived.
The staff: outstanding!
A huge compliment goes to the entire team at the Terentnerhof. Whether in the restaurant, at the reception, or at the bar, all employees were always courteous, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. You can feel that the work here is done with genuine passion and joy. Every question, no matter how small, was answered with a smile, and your wishes were almost read from your eyes. This level of hospitality is truly exceptional.
Culinary Delights: A Delight
We were completely thrilled by the culinary offerings.
Breakfast: In addition to a generous buffet with everything your heart desires, we were able to choose from a varied à la carte menu every day – at no extra charge, of course. Freshly prepared egg dishes with individual ingredients, sweet delicacies such as waffles, smoothie bowls, porridge, and a daily highlight (e.g., Kaiserschmarrn) left nothing to be desired.
Dinner: The multi-course dinner impressed us with a perfect blend of traditional, modern, and vegan dishes: creative, high-quality, and always lovingly prepared. A particularly pleasant feature: You could freely choose and combine courses, which made for a relaxed and personalized culinary experience.
A large salad buffet, a selection of cheeses and fruits after dessert, and an additional à la carte menu (usually at no extra charge) rounded off the culinary experience.
Wine & Bar
The wine selection was excellent and a real highlight for wine connoisseurs. The cocktails and drinks at the bar were also simply divine.
Rooms & Amenities
Our suite with a terrace was spacious and beautifully furnished. The box-spring bed was wonderfully comfortable, and the bathroom with a rain shower was a true oasis of well-being. The sofa in the living area served as a comfortable bed for our two children (12 and 16 years old) – large enough, stable, and very comfortable.
Particularly practical: The beach bag with three fresh towels and bathrobes, which was restocked daily.
Wellness & Relaxation
The wellness area was another highlight of our stay:
Modern sauna with a variety of infusions and scrubs.
Quiet, stylish relaxation rooms, pool with a wonderful view.
Full moon swim: a magical experience
Tea, water, and snacks are available at all times. You can also order additional drinks via QR code.
There was always enough space on the loungers, and everything was very well-maintained and tastefully decorated.
Other amenities
Daily reserved table in the restaurant (inside or outside) – always lovingly set
Underground parking on two levels, free of charge and easily accessible.
Hiking and excursion tips throughout the hotel and personally from the staff.
A short "morning post" with the day's program every morning.
Hotel activities such as guided hikes, sauna infusions, and beer tastings perfectly round out the offerings.
Conclusion
The Terentnerhof completely won us over. This hotel isn't just a place to stay: it's a place where you arrive, enjoy, and unwind️.
The friendly staff, the excellent cuisine, and the stylish wellness area make the stay something truly special️.

The only downside is that you have to order main dishes for breakfast and lunch from the menu and wait a long time, but there's a salad bar, and if you're really hungry, it's a good snack.

I can only say that I am more than thrilled with the Terentnerhof. From the first to the last impression, everything is simply fantastic. From the moment you enter, you can feel how lovingly the hotel is run. It is decorated with great taste and style – from the rooms to the bar, the restaurant, and the wellness area, everything is harmonious and uniform – no fancy decorations – but great attention to detail. The relaxation rooms (assuming other guests know what "relaxation" room means) are spacious, with plenty of space. The wellness area with sky pool, whirlpool, and saunas is fantastic; the meditation with Sabrina (a scent and sound journey) is highly recommended. The restaurant is simply outstanding – from breakfast to dinner, the selection of drinks, the service – the entire team. Thanks to the reception team for preparing the birthday surprise for my girlfriend. I can't stop raving about it. I absolutely recommend it! We felt so comfortable. We stayed in a beautifully renovated room over Easter. The welcome was incredibly warm and thoughtfully planned – after arriving, we were able to settle in with an aperitif at the lovely bar, and our luggage was already taken to our room.
Our entire stay was very relaxing – the spa area is modern and superbly equipped, and the sauna infusions are professionally done!
We enjoyed top-quality food every day, both at breakfast and dinner, and were extremely satisfied with all the dishes. The wine selection is first-class, as is immediately apparent upon seeing the enormous wine cabinet in the lobby.
The service was always exceptionally attentive and prompt.
We brought our dog, who was also warmly welcomed. There are several recommended hiking trails nearby, and the nearest larger town, Bruneck, is only 15 kilometers away.
All in all, a fantastic short break with a very high relaxation factor.

The staff throughout the hotel are very competent and friendly. You won't miss anything. Dinner at the hotel is also highly recommended. Every evening there's something new to try, and the excellent wine list caters to all tastes. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, with a huge selection of breads, pastries, cereals, fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, and cheese. It's important to note that the hotel is a bit out of the way and there's not much going on in the village. Those seeking peace and quiet will get their money's worth. Those who enjoy going out in the evening will have to get in the car or take the bus, whether they like it or not. However, if you specifically want to sleep in, have a leisurely breakfast, hike, and then hit the sauna, the Terentnerhof is the right place for you. We'll definitely be back.

Starting with the welcome, you immediately felt at home. The rooms are very modern, beautiful and always very clean. Also, a big compliment to the fantastic service. Exceptional! Courtesy, kindness, and hospitality from all the staff. Breathtaking panoramic pool with perfectly heated water and a very scenic pool/whirlpool with 360-degree views of the entire valley. The Michelin-starred dinner is noteworthy for the quality and variety of dishes offered (you can choose from three five-course menus). The suite was brand new and spotlessly clean, and even the in-room sauna was top-notch. I don't think I've ever seen a breakfast with so many choices and quality products, both buffet-style and à la carte (huge!). Terento is a quieter town than the more famous resorts in the Puster Valley, so in my opinion it's a plus for those looking for a less famous and quieter location. Excellent hiking trails start from here. It's a 4s, so the prices are reasonable and justified by the services offered. P.S.: I can't believe the negative reviews I've found here on Google.

We spent a few days in this special location and were very pleased.
We couldn't find any flaws in our stay: the rooms were comfortable, the breakfast and dinner were high-quality, the hotel organized many interesting activities, and finally, the kindness and attentiveness of all the staff were truly meticulous and thorough.

It's hard to find any flaws. The hotel is meticulously maintained, with a stunning spa featuring an infinity pool, large whirlpool, Turkish bath, bio sauna, and a large event sauna where Stefan and Katrin offer aufguss 2-3 times a day. Excellent cuisine, a generous breakfast with freshly prepared dishes, and generous appetizers and quality dishes in the evening, especially the main courses. The first courses weren't always up to par (except for the carbonara pictured, which was excellent). The staff were always friendly and helpful, always ready to accommodate any request. A place to return to and relax.

A fantastic stay at the Terentnerhof Hotel. The hotel is extremely refined and welcoming, starting with the clean, new, spacious, and modern rooms with all the necessary amenities. The spa is divided into several levels, particularly the infinity pool with a direct view of the snow-capped mountains.
The restaurant's buffet is exceptional with a wide variety of choices. We especially thank Giovanni, who welcomed us warmly and looked after us during breakfast and dinner with great charisma and friendliness. Overall, the staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, and welcoming. We will definitely return to this hotel, and it's a must-try for anyone looking to spend a few days relaxing in the mountains.

The rooms are clean, new and with a modern design.
The excursions organized by the hotel are wonderful and we thank Clotilde for accompanying us with the llamas!
The spa is exceptional with Tyrolean sauna events.
The restaurant is sublime, we especially thank Giovanni who supported us in choosing the various menus, as well as his kindness.
We also thank the girls at reception who helped us with ski rental directly at the hotel.

We received a very friendly welcome and were able to enjoy a welcome drink on the terrace during check-in and make our selections for the 5-course dinner menu. A true culinary highlight, and each course was also a visual eye-catcher.
The room was large and comfortable, with a large balcony that truly made us feel at home.
The spa area also leaves little to be desired. Whether relaxing in one of the lounges by the infinity pool or unwinding in a lounge chair after a sauna infusion, relaxation is a top priority here.
The attentive and very friendly service is particularly noteworthy, whether at reception, during an aperitif at the bar, or during dinner/breakfast.
Despite its location on the main road, it is very quiet.
All in all, a thoroughly successful weekend.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, and it was fantastic. You receive a warm welcome and a welcome drink (alcoholic or not) in the hotel bar. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, and you can also order freshly prepared dishes like omelets, pancakes, or waffles. The 4-course menu was also a dream (you can choose between three menus, but you can also mix and match, so you can have the starter from the traditional menu, the main course from the vegan one, etc.). The wellness area, which extends over 3 floors, features a large whirlpool on the roof, 2 saunas, a steam bath, a plunge pool, and a relaxation room. There's also an infinity pool. The hotel also offers a wide range of daily sports activities (shuttle to Kronplatz, hikes, gym classes, etc.).

Perfect getaway – We'll be back!
From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The room was beautiful, modern, extremely comfortable, and spotlessly clean – it was made up as if it were new every day. The fitness area was well-equipped, and the spa area was simply fantastic. We were particularly impressed by the little touches in the spa, as well as the saunas with several daily infusions – a real highlight!
A special mention goes to the ice bath – as ice bathing enthusiasts, we were truly impressed by the superbly equipped pool.
The absolute highlight, however, was the food: fine dining of the highest caliber every day. Everything was incredibly delicious, and we've rarely eaten so well.
A big thank you to the attentive staff, who not only looked after us excellently but even returned personal items we forgot.
We are already looking forward to our next stay – thank you for this wonderful experience!

Even before our luggage was taken out, we were taken to the bar for coffee.
Then we were taken on a tour of the hotel and to our room.
The feeling at the hotel is very pleasant, the staff is caring and loves to help. Therefore, I will mention the amazing Teresa and Marin.
We liked that those who stay at the hotel and there are no outside guests for fun days at the spa.
The room is large, with a large, round bed in the center.
The hotel is clean and maintained.
The spa has an indoor pool and through it you go outside, surrounded by cozy relaxation rooms.
There is another area with a larger relaxation room and also an exit to an outdoor pool that includes a jacuzzi and seating areas.
There is also a dry and wet savannah. Tea corner.
Very rich breakfast, salads in the buffet and egg dishes are served upon additional order.
Dinner according to the menu offered in the morning, we enjoyed it very much.
Thank you for a fun stay and I would love to come back to stay again.
I loved that every morning when I arrived at the breakfast table, there was a daily newspaper waiting with nice articles and a dinner menu.

We've returned to this fantastic property for the third time, and every experience has been excellent. The Engl family, who own the hotel, have created an environment with love and passion that allows us to unwind from routine and worries, with excellent services and an owner-managed restaurant that we'd love to have close to our city so we can enjoy unique culinary delights more often, with special attention to those with food intolerances. A wonderful spa where you can forget everything, just pampering yourself. The modern and welcoming facility has exceptional staff, helpful, professional, and always smiling.
Top services: from the beautiful spa, with its many different spaces, to the comfortable and cozy rooms.
A special mention for the cuisine: we opted for half board, and dinner consisted of a rich and varied buffet and four courses, including dessert. The menus to choose from were: traditional, modern, and vegan . A special thank you to the many attentions paid to people like me who have various intolerances and are vegetarian/vegan.

The staff and the Engl family are very accommodating, nice and super friendly. For “extra requests” the statement was made: no problem, of course and a solution was offered. Simply wonderful.

Wellness area with a pool and whirlpool, as well as two saunas and a steam room.

An absolutely fantastic hotel. The friendly greeting and welcome drink upon arrival, followed by a short tour of the various areas (pool, sauna, relaxation area, etc.) was wonderful and informative. The whole hotel exudes a relaxing atmosphere thanks to its comfortable furnishings. The room furnishings were also very good. Every area is very clean, and all the staff do a fantastic job, looking after their guests with warmth and professionalism. It was also very nice that we could eat in the bar area with our dog. Breakfast and especially dinner were truly delicious. What the kitchen team conjured up every day was in a league of its own. The service team, including the management, did an outstanding job. The good bus connections near the hotel were also nice, so we could leave the car in the free parking lot. Everything was perfect for us, and our private garden sauna was the icing on the cake. That's what a hotel should be!!! Thank you, and of course we would definitely recommend it.

A very warm welcome awaited us, complete with a glass of Prosecco, and we were able to check in earlier than expected.
The spa area, including the relaxation rooms, was exceptionally beautiful and spotless. There was a large swimming pool and a very large outdoor whirlpool. The sauna infusion in the event sauna was lovely and refined. The staff was incredibly kind and friendly. In the evening, we enjoyed a five-course meal – the food was absolutely delicious! The red wine and cocktails at the bar were also incredibly tasty.
The bed was very comfortable and large, and the room had a beautiful, cozy style. The entire hotel was incredibly modern yet incredibly romantic. We were so pleasantly surprised; we loved the hotel so much that we will definitely return. There is absolutely nothing to criticize. It was simply perfect! A hotel with meticulous attention to detail, located just steps from the center of Terento, truly offers a good lifestyle. Everything about the spa and wellness area is excellent. The cuisine continues the positive trend, with an excellent five-course dinner, and the duck with its own stock, a standout for me.

We spent four nights at the hotel in July 2024. The rooms are spacious and modernly furnished. The amenities are comfortable; only a coffee machine in the room would have been a welcome addition. The balcony is generously sized and we enjoyed using it. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The hostess, Wally, takes time for her guests and is always friendly and helpful. She is the heart and soul of the hotel and makes every guest feel at home. In the evenings, Wally conjures up delicious meals using high-quality regional products (a five-course menu with a choice of dishes). The breakfast selection is more than adequate (buffet and à la carte). The spa area is spacious, and the facilities are equally impressive. There are plenty of loungers available, but we would have appreciated more shaded areas on the terrace in the afternoon. We would gladly return.

Very nice and cozy hotel with tasteful furnishings, nice rooms and a great wellness area. We felt comfortable, but we think there is still room for improvement and we expected more at this price (760 euros for 2 nights).
The wellness area is wonderful with great relaxation rooms and a beautiful panoramic sauna. The pool is also great. In the wellness area, additional towels could be provided and the staff could be more careful about refilling the cups, glasses and apples. These were often empty and that is unfortunate after an infusion where liquid is needed. We also expected more from the food, the breakfast could have been prepared a little more lovingly, the afternoon greeting from the patisserie was a simple cake and the staff in the restaurant were not that attentive and communication was difficult. After the sauna area and restaurant have been renovated, we would come back again if the prices didn't increase significantly as a result.

Friendly staff, hotel in a strategic location for skiing (they organize excursions directly from the hotel). Excellent sauna areas (it's a shame they're on different floors with the indoor pool). The top-floor pool is really nice, the only downside is the water temperature...33 degrees Celsius inside, 32 degrees Celsius outside (measured with an Apple Watch). The only downside was having to get up at 7 am to swim and enjoy the sunrise; the cleaning ladies can't be around the pool for an hour. Dinner was truly excellent and tasty, as was breakfast.

A very nice wellness hotel in the beautiful Pustertal Valley. We only went for a walk, but you can certainly go hiking here, tobogganing and skiing on the small lift in town, or take the shuttle bus to the nearby ski slopes.
My personal highlight, however, is the daily sauna infusion, especially the cowboy infusion with Paul is absolutely amazing, a real experience
If I had to give something a bad rating, it would probably be the layout of the wellness area across several floors. The infinity pool is, of course, at the very top on the 4th floor, and the sauna area is on the lower floors.
We are a couple in our 50s and had a few very nice days at the Terentenhof.

A solid wellness hotel with a reasonably reasonable price-performance ratio.
We had a deluxe room with a private sauna, which could be used as a Finnish or infrared sauna. However, the cabin is too small for a couple to use the sauna together.
Overall, the room was cleaned properly, but the last few nights proved to be a real torture for allergy sufferers. After complaining at check-out, we were told that such information needed to be communicated in advance so that "the cleaning staff could pay more attention to cleanliness." We would have liked to have received a reasonable discount for the less than restful nights as a goodwill gesture. For a 4-star superior hotel, we felt little to no concern was shown for our concerns.
From a culinary perspective, the 5-course dinners were both visually appealing and tasty. Seconds could be ordered at any time.
The sauna area received almost exclusively positive feedback. There is a good selection of saunas and plenty of loungers in the relaxation areas.
Unfortunately, the sauna doesn't open until 2 p.m., which is a bit of a shame, but fortunately, it was bearable for us with the sauna in our room.
The panoramic infinity pool is logically located on the fourth floor and offers a fantastic view and a pleasant temperature. Unfortunately, there's only a telephone for ordering drinks, instead of a small, free (!!) tea and water station. Unfortunately, the sauna area is on the first floor, so switching between saunas and baths meant going through the entire building.
The prices for the "mountain water" are extortionate at €3.90 per bottle. These weren't new and unopened bottles—they had simply been refilled or carbonated.
Adequate hydration is essential, especially on a wellness vacation with frequent sauna sessions, especially if you don't want to drink tea 24/7.

Great hotel with excellent value for money!
We chose the Terentnerhof for a weekend and were very well looked after.
The hotel is in absolutely perfect condition, except for a few corners. The service is very professional and attentive.
We particularly enjoyed our sunny balcony and the extensive breakfast.
The well-maintained wellness and sauna area, spread throughout the hotel, is also great, and the daytime leisure program is included in the price.
The infusions were a spectacle every time. The large sauna was a bit too cold at 75 degrees Celsius, but it was still lovely.
We had a fantastic dinner the first evening. The food on the second evening was still very good, although its finesse couldn't even come close to that of the previous evening's dinner.
Overall, we had a very nice time and would recommend the Terentnerhof with a clear conscience.

We stayed at the Terentner Hof in South Tyrol this summer. We stayed in a small suite for 7 days. The team is super friendly, and you receive a warm welcome upon arrival. The hotel is very clean and luxurious. There are various saunas and a wellness area. We didn't use them, but the saunas were always very busy. The food at this hotel is particularly noteworthy. We have never stayed in a hotel where the food was as good as this. Whether breakfast or dinner, it's truly of a star standard. There really was absolutely nothing to complain about. If you stay in a suite, you eat in the dining room opposite the main dining room. That was also an advantage, as it was quieter and more intimate :-)
Excursions are also right outside the door. There are also e-bikes that you can rent at the hotel. However, you can also easily reach everything nearby by car.
There is no gym, but they offer sports classes.
Overall, it was a wonderful time, and we would go there again anytime.

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for four days. From reception to check-out, everything was fantastic. The rooms are incredibly beautiful and tastefully furnished. The food was also top-notch, and the wellness area was wonderful. The infusions by sauna artist (a well-chosen term) Daniela are particularly worth mentioning. I've never experienced anything like it in any other hotel before – sensational. Thank you for the wonderful and relaxing days. We're already looking forward to our next stay, which is sure to come.
A quick word about some of the negative reviews regarding the road in front of the hotel. Yes, it's on a road. But hey, it's not the Pustertal state road, but the main road through Terento. Traffic is really light, and hardly a car passes by at night. We slept like logs with the window open.

We felt completely at home during our stay. Even with a large camper, we were able to find a parking space in the courtyard. The service was super friendly, the hotel was clean, and the decor was beautifully designed. The food also left nothing to be desired.
I've rarely experienced such elegant infusions; the girls are truly amazing at what they do! Huge praise and thanks again.
I have two small negative points, but they're really high-level complaints:
The sauna and pool area extends over several levels, so it's a bit fragmented. The other point is that the loungers/beds outside on the roof aren't really screened off, and you can be seen from the street. Of course, you can also hear the street if you want to relax outside on the "beds" after the sauna. This could definitely be improved.
Otherwise, we felt completely at home!
The massages are also highly recommended!
We'd love to come back!

Our room was truly beautiful. Breakfast, dinner, and the afternoon pastries were all delicious.
Most of the staff are very friendly.
Unfortunately, the wellness area is very small and inconvenient. You have to climb two floors to get from one sauna to the next, and the pool is in a completely different location. The water is also quite cool.
Overall, the stay was nice, but we wouldn't come again. This is definitely not a 4-star superior standard.

I've often vacationed at this hotel in the past, but this time we were just passing through. We drank a Coke and ate ice cream on the terrace. Unfortunately, it has to be said that the nut cups with two small scoops, some whipped cream, and a few sprinkles aren't worth €9.

Absolutely fantastic hotel!
The food was fantastic. First, the varied and regional breakfast buffet and the selection of freshly prepared egg dishes. We will also miss Antonio's cappuccino, as it is the best we've ever had.
At lunchtime, you could choose between two delicious dishes, in the afternoon there was a cake buffet, and in the evening, a fantastic 5-course menu, lovingly prepared and very tasty. We enjoyed everything immensely.
The staff couldn't have been better. Everyone was super friendly and extremely competent.
Overall, top-notch service, even short-notice requests were accommodated. The room and the dinner table were lovingly decorated upon request, a very nice romantic touch for our honeymoon.
Indoor and outdoor pool on the roof (with a great view) and a lovely sauna area with wonderful infusions almost daily. Günter and Martin pampered us with good music and wonderful scents. Conveniently, you can even take a tandem flight with Martin, which gave us the boost we needed.
The hotel also offers a wealth of information and inspiration for nearby activities and excursions.
Our room was very nice, spacious, spotlessly clean, and nicely furnished. A tea maker in the room would have been great, but you could also just help yourself to tea in the sauna area, where there was not only hot water but also a large selection of teas.
All in all, we were thrilled and will be back!

Hotel Terentnerhof is one of the better hotels we've stayed in (okay, we've stayed in better ones), and it justifies its price. It's located in a sunny spot, close to the road and hiking trails, and offers plenty of tips for an active vacation, but also plenty of content for relaxation and enjoyment, so you won't regret it even if you spend the whole day just at the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and will be happy to help with any challenges, as well as give advice for excursions or enjoyment. The heated pool on the hotel's roof is both outdoor and indoor, so you can swim even on cold days, while on sunny days you have to seriously apply sunscreen. But for me, the best part is the pool - the indoor area with sun loungers where you can read a book and enjoy the view in peace and quiet after swimming, and you can also order a cocktail for a complete atmosphere :)
The cuisine is excellent and deserves a Michelin star, and every evening we had a sweet worry about choosing what to eat the next day, because the small selection of dishes is so good that you don't know which dish is better than the other. The breakfast is excellent and offers several types of cereals, several types of honey, various jams for filling croissants, various jams for spreading on bread (their homemade Nutella and pistachio spread are superb!), several types of margarines and cheeses, a very good selection of fruits and vegetables, both for eating and for making juices, omelettes or scrambled eggs with egg whites if desired.
The hotel even has two garages with several EV chargers, so your car will be comfortably located, and you can rent an eBike relatively cheaply and explore the surroundings by bike. The hotel also offers free museum tickets, local bus, train and even some cable cars, so you can choose something new every day.
The hotel is not listed as “adult only”, but it does not offer facilities for children, so don't expect your child to be happy with this accommodation, but you will certainly be satisfied.
A very good hotel that we will gladly return to.

Do you know the movie Pillow Talk? Doris Day plays an interior designer who gets revenge on her partner with a hideous decor, complete with fancy gadgets. This film came to mind when I entered my junior suite. Well, tastes differ, and I'm sure some people will like this style. For me, it was rather hideous, and the wannabe gadgets were a constant annoyance. The light on the balcony switches on automatically and can't be controlled by the guest. On the first evening, after a long drive, I'd just fallen asleep when the room suddenly lit up. First, I tried every switch I could find, which also lit up the bed . Then I called reception. They told me the light would go off again after 30 minutes. Well, 30 minutes, I thought, that's not too bad. In fact, it lasted more than another hour. The next day, I asked them to turn the lights off. To make a long story short, the hotel managed to do that in exactly one day. Every single day I had to go back to reception to have the lights turned off. You'd think the hotel would at least have apologized, but no. On the day of my departure, they asked perfunctorily if there had been any complaints. My comment about the lighting was met with a dull smile. That's what I call service . I could have darkened the room with curtains, but then there wouldn't have been any airflow. Since there was no air conditioning, that wasn't an option in the height of summer.
The room faced the street. Before booking, I had asked if it was very noisy. I was told it wasn't. In fact, the street is often used by cars and motorcycles speeding by from around 6:00 a.m. onwards. I found it acceptable, but I suspect it might be too loud for many guests.
Aside from these issues, it's worth mentioning that the pool is very nice, but offers hardly any shade. The spa area is accessible by elevator from the pool and spans three floors; some sections require using an outdoor staircase. While very stylishly furnished, the layout makes it somewhat uncomfortable and the room is a bit dark. The food is good, though not particularly special. At breakfast, some of the jam served is mass-produced and comes in jars. The buffet is otherwise plentiful, but compared to similar hotels in South Tyrol, it lacks any real flair. The service was generally good. However, one server had to be constantly chased down during afternoon coffee. And a word of caution: when ordering an aperitif, be sure to mention that you don't want the appetizer served immediately, otherwise the waitress might frown if you decide not to accept it right away. I've stayed in various four- and five-star hotels in South Tyrol many times and have never had anything to complain about. That's why I was quite surprised this time.

One small drawback was the condition of the hiking backpack and snowshoes. The buckles were broken on both. But still highly recommended. We had a wonderful 5 days at the TerentenHof.

Great hotel, excellent food, and very friendly service. The pool and sauna are top-notch. The location is good, but it's on a fairly busy street, so it's not for sensitive people.
The rooms are clean and modern. Unfortunately, there are only blackout curtains on the ground floor, and the only ventilation option is through the patio door. Privacy curtains to reduce the darkness, along with a ventilation system or opening windows, would be a solution.

The 5-course evening menu is ideal for gourmets. The food is of very high quality and beautifully presented. You can choose from a variety of dishes. Just as it should be. There are some great activities to do in the village. There's also a wide range of activities on offer. E-bikes can be rented at short notice. There's something for everyone and the portions are so large that you can manage it all together. For us, the start of the meal time was a bit early at 6:30 p.m., but that's up to us.
Excellent service. Very attentive and if one of our group didn't remember what he had ticked, a solution was found!
Cocktails and digestives at the bar were tasteful and reasonably priced. (e.g. Americano approx. 8 €). Bottled wine prices are rather high (€33 upwards, but good wines).
Indoor & outdoor pool on the roof.
One point deducted for the location, as the street in front of it is very busy from 5 a.m. onwards. You can't hear anything when the window is closed, but anyone who needs fresh air will hear it.

We spent two nights at the Terentnerhof, planning a short break with wellness and a daytime program in the South Tyrolean mountains.
Our room was beautiful on the first floor with a balcony facing the street. We had the window tilted open, and it was quiet at night; the street seemed to have hardly any traffic at night.
The highlight was definitely the food. Neither the breakfast buffet nor the multi-course dinner menu left anything to be desired. Excellent food of excellent quality. Lunch would have been included, but we didn't eat it.
The wellness area is new and beautiful, a bit "nookered" with stairs leading up and down. Two saunas and a steam bath, so small but nice. Martin's sensational infusions are worth mentioning
All in all, a perfect break for us.
Only the €45 was a bit too much for us in terms of value for money to be able to use the pool/sauna on the day of departure.

We stayed at this property for two nights with 3/4 board. The hotel is located a short walk from the center of Terento and offers a free card for public transportation, which also includes admission to museums, ski lifts, and more.
The property is very welcoming and clean, furnished in a local yet modern style. The infinity pool on the top floor is noteworthy. The rooms offer a beautiful view of the valley.
The cuisine is excellent, with traditional and non-traditional dishes, both sophisticated and delicious. The breakfast is varied and of excellent quality.
The spa area is also well-kept; it's not very large, but it has several relaxation areas. The staff is always very kind and ready to accommodate every request.
A well-deserved 4-star rating. Recommended!

The hotel appears recently renovated, very clean, comfortable, and equipped with every desirable amenity. The reception is located opposite the entrance, and the staff is ready to welcome new guests with a welcome drink at the bar. The rooms are also clean and comfortable. Separating the toilet area from the sink area is a great idea. The hotel has a spa, but the pool is small for the maximum number of guests. The sauna is on the ground floor, while the pool is on the fourth floor, which can be quite inconvenient. The service isn't impeccable: dinner takes almost two hours because there's a long wait between courses. However, the quality, sophistication, and deliciousness of the dishes is noteworthy: the cuisine is truly remarkable.

A true gem, a place to return to and recommend to friends. The food is a feather in the cap for its quality and refinement, perfectly balanced. The room was meticulously cleaned. Some convenient amenities include a covered garage, a wide selection of herbal teas in the sauna area, a choice of two unusual dishes for lunch, and a buffet of delicious homemade desserts in the afternoon. Attention to detail, for example, is evident in the always available lactose-free milk and delicious vegetarian dishes. Terento is not a renowned tourist destination in the Puster Valley, but those are easily accessible, even free and eco-friendly thanks to the public transportation passes the hotel provides guests. The family-run hotel is attentive and responsive to guests' requests. The only slight downside is that the pool area, when the hotel is fully booked, can get a bit crowded.

There weren't really any cons. The minor points would be the following:
• Sunbeds by the pool area are often fully booked.
• Rooms are a bit noisy but still okay.
• Beds are a bit hard.
• For an "active" hotel, a fitness room would have been nice.
• The location to the nearest two ski resorts (Kronplatz and Jochtal) is 25 minutes away, but the shuttle bus and the nearby bus station make up for this. There is also plenty of parking in the ski resort.

What can I say... The shack isn't bad; its strong point is the living legend Antonio. When he's not busy climbing 80 flights of stairs to bring us two gin and tonics and two Hugos, he does charity work. I've heard he saves puppies and children every other weekend, and that once, while resuscitating a person in cardiac arrest due to his immeasurable beauty, he invented the cocktail we now know as the Americano. The 14 minutes a day that Antonio is away from the facility he dedicates to thinking about solutions to climate change.

Some suites also have a sauna and a pool on the fourth floor, which also overlooks the outside of the building.
The only flaw, in my opinion, is that the water in the heated pool, which also extends outside, was a bit cold for my taste.

This was our first time at the Terentnerhof and we were thrilled. You receive a very warm welcome upon arrival, and the same friendly treatment continued throughout your stay. The rooms are a decent size, clean, and comfortable. The wellness/swimming pool area is also very nice. We particularly liked the natural architectural style. (It was a bit of a shame that at lunchtime there weren't any loungers available, and many people were occupying them with towels while they were at the cake buffet – very German ).
The food was absolutely outstanding. Regional (farm eggs and butter in the morning, homemade bread, etc.) and seasonal. The breakfast buffet offers everything and is delicious down to the last detail, standing out from other hotel buffets. The dinner, with its wide selection, was always delicious.
Be sure to use the bike rental service and explore the area on foot.
We highly recommend the Terentnerhof!

We stayed in the hotel at the end of August for five nights as a couple plus a dog.
Due to the presence of our furry friend we had a room upgrade, in fact from the booked junior suite we were moved to one of the mountain side suites with garden (shared with the other 4 rooms).
The choice was much appreciated because the rooms on the mountain side, although not very airy, overlook the greenery and to the north.
Very large bathroom, a curious round bed and enough space to enjoy your holiday with a large dog.
A small note can only be made about the shared garden which saw the incursion of some very "lively" dogs who were badly managed by rude owners.
The structure is recent and very well maintained, excellent cleanliness and truly friendly staff.
We made use of the modern swimming pool on the fourth floor, a little crowded, overlooking the Pusteria valley below and the cow pastures behind it. I personally appreciated the tranquility that the environment conveys, the smell of the pasture might not be appreciated by the more squeamish.
As for the spa, it is pleasant, well maintained and not very large.
It is made up of a very pleasant Turkish bath, a low temperature sauna and some showers. Going outside you will find a beautiful sauna overlooking the pastures. Accompanied by several beds and deckchairs in the relaxation areas where it is possible to sip herbal teas made available.
I can make two criticisms of the wellness area, regardless of the size or equipment, there is no ice cream pit or a hydromassage tub in the sauna area, the swimming pool is on the other side of the building, and there is a complete lack of information on the correct use of the area and the saunas.
Unfortunately, people should be told to keep a low tone of voice and that you cannot enter hot areas with swimsuits and slippers...
Some signs for newbies would be helpful.
I congratulate the staff who, twice a day, perform very well done infusions of steam in the panoramic sauna.
The 3/4 board includes a buffet breakfast (varied and pleasant), a hot dish for lunch (more than enough) and a dinner with a choice of courses (all excellent dishes), the drinks are a little expensive.
The hotel gives advice and also organizes daily excursions in the surrounding area.
Overall a great experience, the Engl family and the staff are really very kind.

Perfect hotel and service. Be sure you can easily spend 7 days there. Hotel is located in the mountains so there are different walking paths you can take every day. Also there are interesting towns, museums in up to 1 hour drive. My book stayed unopened because there much better things to do! We also used Almen card to visit creation of Zaha Hadid and wonderful Lumin photo museum for free.
It was pleasure to enjoy every tasty breakfast and dinner, cakes in the afternoon. Good coffee.
Saunas and pool is perfect. We started every morning with swim in the roof pool looking at awaking of the nature. Would love to come back to this holiday atmosphere.

Simply magical! Easy to get to and surprisingly panoramic, whether from your room or the magnificent infinity pool, the view is exceptional. The entire staff pampered you, and every request was catered to (even a light lunch for a day trip), and the breakfast and dinner were worthy of a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Spacious, comfortable, and quiet rooms… the magnificent spa completes the experience, with steam baths in the sauna—unique!

The pool on the 4th floor is amazing - the pictures speak for themselves. Open from 7am - perfect for a swim before breakfast. There are enough loungers and a relaxation room. Optimal. I haven't tested the sauna area - I can't say anything about it.
We were “only” there for 2 nights - that will definitely be extended next year.
E-bike rental in the house, great thing.
You can reach Lake Pragser Wildsee in 1 hour by car. Summer mountain railway in the neighboring town included.

This hotel deserves more than 5 stars... We are absolutely thrilled with the Terentner Hof after our stay yesterday/today. Beautiful, clean, and comfortable rooms. All the staff at this hotel are very friendly and will fulfill your every wish. Breakfast and dinner were simply delicious. Big compliments to the chef. I've never eaten such delicious lasagna. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. So much choice, even for those with gluten intolerance. At the Terentner Hof, even fussy children are made happy. My daughter loved the food and even managed the last bite. The wellness area, pool, and sauna are beautiful. Everything is clean and quiet. The sun deck is very relaxing. A fantastic hotel – perfect for a short break! We can definitely recommend this hotel. The staff and the hotel manager are incredibly attentive and friendly! They cater to every need. Even our request for an extra pillow was promptly fulfilled. We spent the night in the Mountain Suite and have rarely stayed in such a beautiful room. The private sauna and wood-burning stove in the room definitely contributed to our relaxation. The hotel's location is ideal for all kinds of excursions. For example, we visited Lake Prags (about an hour's drive). It's worth setting off very early, as the lake gets very crowded from 10 am onwards. The spa area and especially the relaxation rooms (particularly the loungers in the sauna area) are very comfortable and spotlessly clean! With a cup of tea and a wide selection of teas, it's wonderful to unwind here! An excellent relaxation massage completes the experience! The panoramic pool is also very inviting! It's a shame that the pool area is on a different level of the hotel, making it difficult to move back and forth between saunas. The sauna infusions in the panoramic sauna are truly wonderful, but it's a pity they only start at 5 pm and both infusions take place back-to-back. The 5-course dinner menu offers something for everyone! There's also a wide selection of salads every evening! All in all, 4.5 stars ️

What can I say...perhaps it's best to sum it up with "everything," but really, everything was fine. The facility is tidy and immaculately clean, with a covered garage, a splendid and very comfortable room (Junior Suite View, which overlooked the street but was completely noiseless), extremely kind staff, and an excellent spa. As if that weren't enough, the strong points are the superb cuisine and the rooftop infinity pool, wonderful!! I'd also like to add that Terento is not far from Brunico, Bressanone, and Vipiteno, making day trips very easy.
If I may, I'll just offer a couple of small personal suggestions...
In other similar spas in Trentino, I've always had waterproof, comfortable towels available to sit on once in the steam room, especially if naked. Another thing I found strange was the lack of a soap dish next to the bidet in the bathroom (to be honest, there wasn't even any soap).
Lastly, I'd like to advise you to bring your own slippers, as the hotel website doesn't specify this!

An unforgettable stay!
The food is excellent, one of the best menus we've ever eaten in a hotel. The selection is plentiful and varied. The breakfast buffet is also outstanding. At lunch, there were always two dishes to choose from. The cake buffet was also plentiful and delicious.
The drink prices are absolutely fair.
The service is very courteous and attentive. Guests felt very comfortable.
The wellness area is new and modern, and the view from the infinity pool is stunning.
The rooms are stylish, new, and spacious. We stayed in an Alpine Junior Suite.
The only minor criticism: there is no air conditioning, and the rooms facing the street are unfortunately a bit noisy if you have to leave the door open at night due to the heat. Next time, we would book a room at the back.
We would come back anytime and look forward to hopefully staying again soon.

Hatten ein Doppelzimmer „Active“ gebucht ( das „kleinste“)- hat uns als 3köpfige Familie aber völlig ausgereicht.
Hotel ist sehr gepflegt und super sauber. Auf der Dachterasse gibt es einen wunderschönen Pool/Poolbereich 🧡 eine große Sauna mit 2Aufgussen pro Tag ist ebenfalls vorhanden. Essen war einfach nur fantastisch.

We were guests here until last Wednesday. The hotel cannot be praised highly enough... our junior suite was very nice, everything was in top condition and clean. We had a view of the mountain behind us, which is certainly the better choice for those sensitive to noise... if you sleep with the window open. The food was excellent - upscale, but without the frills of a star-rated hotel. The service was also above average - attentive without being intrusive. We enjoyed the pool every day - it's beautifully situated on the roof. We can't comment on the sauna, as we didn't use it. We booked one massage - also highly commendable. For our wellness needs, the offerings were absolutely sufficient; those looking for a larger wellness oasis should look in slightly higher price and star categories. What particularly impressed us was the handling of our early departure - my wife had contracted COVID-19. A fantastic breakfast was brought to our room, which made packing easy. I must also emphasize that the billing was very, very reasonable – we only had to pay for the nights we stayed (plus food and beverages), even though we had booked three more days. Today's follow-up email was very personal, and a suggestion we had was also addressed. Long story short – we were very satisfied and are already talking about doing it again (please, without the coronavirus).

Very nice, newly renovated hotel. The rooms are nice, comfortable, and clean. The food was very good, and the service was quick and friendly. The fruit and cheese for dessert could have been a bit more plentiful or more varied.
The sauna infusions with Martin were the absolute highlight – truly world-class. :-)
The hotel is really more suited to an active holiday, but unfortunately, the wellness offerings weren't enough for us for a wellness weekend (the sauna, for example, doesn't open until 2 p.m.). The pool was also a bit too cold.
Still, highly recommended if you're looking for an active holiday. :-)

Pros: We had the Active Superior Double Room, which was modern and clean. The food was very good, and vegetarian options were offered. The breakfast buffet also had a wide selection. The spa area was modern and inviting.
Cons: The cleaning staff came to our room twice in the morning, even though the "Do not disturb" sign was on the doorknob. The panoramic pool was a bit too cold, so we couldn't and didn't want to relax outside for long. The pool's cleanliness also left a lot to be desired.

Nothing is missing, the facility is spotless, the staff is attentive, kind, and ready to satisfy your every need. The receptionist, Vale, was very kind and professional, and due to a problem with my room, she upgraded me from a junior suite to a suite. The wellness center is wonderful, and the pool on the 4th floor is breathtaking. We had ¾ board, and the food was excellent, refined, and of high quality. Perhaps the only thing I could suggest, given that it is a 4-star superior hotel, would be to provide a kettle and a coffee machine in every room. This property has been recently renovated and is overall pleasant.
The common areas near the pool are poorly heated, and some access to the relaxation rooms from the sauna area requires an outside passage.
I didn't find the attention to detail and customer service that a hotel of this caliber should provide.
They should reduce the price of the stay to reflect the offerings.

The food is great, although we recommend adding more spice.
The big drawback, however, is the noisy street, which replaces the alarm clock from 5 a.m. onwards.
The pillows could be softer and have more cushioning.
We personally missed air conditioning, especially in the fall... Opening the window isn't recommended when the street noise is really annoying.
We stayed at a Falkensteiner hotel nearby two years ago. The rooms, food, and amenities were absolutely equivalent, but significantly cheaper...

Great hotel, unfortunately it's located on a main road and the traffic noise is very unpleasant from 5 am onwards. The food is excellent, as are the staff and hotel management. I must especially mention the sauna and relaxation rooms. There was nothing to complain about in the rooms; the wooden floors and modern furnishings are impressive. The view even compensates for the traffic noise, provided you've booked a room facing the road. If it weren't for the roadside location, I would be 95% sure of returning. On the positive side, many destinations are easily accessible. Bolzano is 50 minutes away, Brixen 20 minutes. There are numerous hiking and mountain biking opportunities in the surrounding area.

Beautiful, modern, and renovated hotel. Good food and warm service, which unfortunately goes slightly overboard. An extra server would benefit the hardworking staff and the guests. The surroundings and nature are stunning. The e-bikes had some defects (the rear wheel wasn't attached; luckily, there was no accident, as the bike fell out of the frame while going uphill).
The sauna and infinity pool are great, but unfortunately not located next to each other. Good drinks at the bar and a consistently friendly and helpful reception staff. All in all, highly recommended and a good starting point for hikes to an alpine pasture; a car is recommended.

The hotel far exceeded my expectations. Originally, we only wanted a short trip to Tyrol with affordable accommodation. Upon arrival, we were warmly and very friendly greeted with a drink. The rooftop pool is an absolute dream, even in rainy weather. You can help yourself to the buffet at any time in the afternoon. We weren't denied flexibility at dinner either. You can either pre-order or decide spontaneously. The dinner was simply magnificent, with various à la carte dishes and a delicious and varied salad buffet (depending on the day of the week). There's always something for vegetarians, too, or the menu can be changed at any time. The staff are incredibly well-organized, and you can tell that service is very important here. Nothing was lacking. It's not easy to judge simply because you never know what's going on behind the scenes of hotel guests, but here you could tell that every employee is absolutely passionate about what they do. From the wine recommendation to the second helping (which was freshly prepared), everything was simply perfect.
Especially during this time, hygiene rules may need to be addressed separately... in my opinion, this hotel has perfectly planned the entire concept, making it possible for visitors to have a pleasant vacation—one that doesn't involve any restrictions!

A unique experience, with gorgeous, spacious, and clean rooms overlooking the mountains. They organize excursions and activities every day, and the guide, Hans, a charming gentleman who accompanies you along the trails, sharing anecdotes and events that make you feel at one with your surroundings, is a wonderful person. The hotel has a rooftop pool, partly outdoor and partly indoor, for relaxation, as well as three saunas on the ground floor, which, if it weren't for some rude guests, would be another excellent detox from everyday life. One star less for the food, not for the quality but for the type and quantity. A hotel of this caliber has attempted to elevate its cuisine, though, I must say, in my opinion, it distances itself from tradition; a shame.

The rooftop pool is truly special. Swimming with a view! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We travel a lot, but the food at the Terentnerhof is excellent! You should always book dinner! Not a buffet, but a 5-course menu served at your table. You can choose the day before. Regional and lovingly prepared. The breakfast buffet is worthy of a 4-star rating.
The location is perfect for hikes and excursions. The guests are of all ages and predominantly German, Italian, Austrian, and Swiss. This hotel is highly recommended!

A great hotel for a ski holiday. The staff, including the manager, are attentive and efficient. There's a solution for every need, including the hotel's own bus transfer to the ski area. Before heading to the sauna/pool after a day of skiing, a small salad buffet, coffee, and cake await you. The point deduction comes from the hotel's inability to successfully balance being a family-friendly and wellness hotel! The new and very beautiful sky pool, including a chill-out area, is sometimes used as a paddling pool, with the corresponding noise level, which definitely ruins the relaxing end to the day—it could be even better!
Last but not least, the excellent food, which the manager himself and his team "conjure up," deserves a mention. A feast for the eyes as well as the palate! It's been mentioned in several reviews already, and it seems we weren't the only ones to have this experience, so here are a few photos, because the quality isn't a given for this price range! We were delighted every evening—no matter what was served. Thank you for the many culinary highlights.

The hotel was carefully chosen for a few days of complete relaxation. The relaxation area and the indoor/outdoor pool with warm water are beautiful. Access to the outside is via a photocell-controlled passageway. From the relaxation area, you can enjoy a soothing view of the mountains and the village of Terento. From our first phone call, the staff was very friendly, competent, and attentive to our needs. We visited during a relatively quiet period, so we took advantage of all the amenities offered. The first floor offers a spacious sauna, various showers, a Turkish bath, unlimited herbal teas and flavored water, and plenty of relaxation beds and loungers. The bar area is also very charming, with a fireplace that makes you feel right at home. Our dinner table was in a slightly separate area from the communal dining room. We appreciated the quiet, even though the buffet area was a bit distant. Breakfast was plentiful, but no hot dishes were available at the buffet (eggs, bacon, etc., but I suppose given the hotel's caliber, you could just ask). You can't have everything. Dinner, with gourmet dishes, and desserts were truly superb. The only downside was the cost of water (€4.30 for a liter, even though it's drawn directly from the spring, which isn't cheap, and €2 for a 0.25 bottle). The room was huge, as was the bathroom and shower, which exceeded expectations. There was no charge for a garage (though there are limited parking spaces). To top it off, there was a small gourmet gift (much appreciated). We'll definitely be back.

We felt very comfortable because...
... our junior suite was modern and very cozy thanks to the wood. The hotel is located on the so-called Sonnenstrasse, so cars do drive by. This might bother some people, but the rooms are facing the street and also on the sunny side. It didn't bother us.
... the service staff was very attentive. Every special request was fulfilled.
... the food was really very good, even if you sometimes had to wait a bit. Everything was freshly prepared and very tasty.
... there was a lot to do. We were there for hiking, and despite the not-so-great weather, we saw a lot.
The pool area on the 4th floor is very modern, but a bit small for the number of guests. It can get crowded in good weather, as there are no other options like a garden or lawn. But we were there for hiking. :-)
Some people here have complained about the high drink prices. We cannot compare this with others in South Tyrol, we only discovered the mountains 2 years ago, but we found it normal for a 4 star hotel.

Conclusion: The positives can't outweigh the negatives.......
Let's start with the positives:
1. The rooms are nice and modern.
2. The quality of the food is very good.
3. The pool area is nice, but not up to the mark for the hotel (especially in bad weather).
4. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.
5. The guided tours are recommended.
Now for the negatives:
1. The "sauna world" is more like a dark and cold sauna cellar (the loungers in the relaxation area have no cushions, the saunas are dark, and hygiene mats for the steam sauna are completely missing).
2. €4.30 for a probably self-filled and carbonated bottle of water (0.5l)—well, that's unacceptable.
3. Waiting up to 45 minutes between courses during the meal is not uncommon!!!
4. The place has a small "mom and pop" shop; otherwise, it's a haunted place (which is perfect for those seeking peace and quiet).
5. The hotel's drink prices are ridiculously overpriced.
6. Cancellation policies...they're interpreted by the owner in her favor. No accommodations at all!!!

I chose this hotel to spend my girlfriend's birthday, and it was a pleasant surprise! Everything is recently built/renovated, well-maintained and well-kept, and the rooms are spotless (I saw how they cleaned, really well!)
Excellent breakfast, afternoon snack, and dinner menus; here too, you can see the attention to detail and beautiful presentation. The staff is very friendly and helpful, although there's always a bit of a language barrier, unfortunately, as is everywhere in these areas. The option to rent some awesome e-MTBs is fantastic! The tour we took on these bikes was nothing short of incredible! I'm so happy, I highly recommend it!

La stanza era più grande del nostro appartamento e ben arredata, con balconcino e una bellissima vista. Ci siamo goduti anche il centro benessere, la sauna esterna è fantastica, per non parlare della piscina che esce all'aperto, da lì la vista era spettacolare. Bravissima e molto competente Maria Alma, la massaggiatrice. Ottima la colazione, fin troppo abbondante lo spuntino del pomeriggio e ottima la cena. Personale molto gentile e sempre sorridente.

We had a wonderful three-day stay at the Terentnerhof. The following points deserve special mention:
1. Excellent dinner/breakfast
2. Infinity pool/relaxation area (above)
3. Friendliness of the staff
4. Private free shuttle to the ski area
In our opinion, the ambiance in the sauna area could be improved. Everything here doesn't seem as modern as the pool area. It would also be better to be able to use the sauna/pool area longer than 7 p.m.
We can 100 percent recommend this hotel to everyone, as the location is also ideal for hiking and cycling in the summer.

A very nice, family-run hotel. You immediately feel at home, and the staff are super friendly. I also always appreciate it when the owners themselves work there. The food is excellent, as is the service in all areas. Kudos to the entire team!
The rooms are large, spacious, quiet, and above all, clean.
The hotel invites you to relax, whether in the sauna area or in the sky pool with a view of the mountains. The massages are fantastic and are performed to your complete satisfaction.
The town is small and far away from all the hustle and bustle. However, if you do want to venture into town, you can take the free bus with the Holiday Pass and explore Bruneck. A beautiful town.
We didn't lack for anything and would happily return.

The owners are very nice! The welcome was warm and welcoming. A lovely, sweet village in a fantastic location. Wonderful for relaxing and forgetting the city.
Unfortunately, the bed was no good. Very thin, it felt worn out.
The food was really great! The pool right up on the roof is also nice, but for true wellness and relaxation, I would recommend a different hotel.
For a little break in between, however, the Terentnerhof is a great destination!

I would have really liked to give it 5 stars, but the hotel ruins its chances with little things.
5-star worthy were:
+ The food. The 5-course menu was a dream. The food always arrives very quickly, beautifully presented, with generous portions, and everything tasted perfect.
+ Cleanliness. Nothing to complain about!
+ The spa area with infinity pool. Very nicely furnished, wonderful view, plenty of loungers to relax on.
+ The location. The village is beautifully situated at almost 1000 meters above sea level, with many excursion and hiking options. Ski resorts can also be reached in 45-60 minutes by car. A visit to Lake Braies is an absolute must!!!
The negatives:
- The parking spaces. You're happy to have arrived after a 5-hour drive, only to have to spend minutes looking for a parking space. The available ones were very tight!
- The welcome. There was hardly any real greeting. The meal times, etc., were very unemotional, and you have to carry your luggage up to your room yourself. It wasn't a big deal for us, but we've experienced much better things from other 4-star hotels in Turkey or Egypt.
- The water temperature in the infinity pool.
Sorry, but it's absolutely outrageous. It's simply too cold to enjoy the view from outside in the water. Many other guests noticed this too, so I reported it to reception. The next day, the temperature was slightly warmer, but even lukewarm is almost excessive.
Now everyone has to decide for themselves whether they can/will cope with the negative experiences.

The Terentnerhof is highly recommended! Even after the renovations, the warmth of the hosts and staff hasn't been lost.
The multi-course dinners are an absolute culinary highlight.
The rooms are top-notch, and the wellness area and newly built sky pool are truly impressive.
Dogs are also welcome at this hotel.
If you can't find relaxation here, it's your own fault.

Wir waren Anfang September 2018 für 5 Tage in dem sehr schönen Hotel Tannenhof. Wir hatten ein sehr schönes großes Superior Doppelzimmer mit Balkon nach Westen(!) mit schönem Blick ins Salzachtal. Bad und WC sind getrennt. Das Essen war gut, ab ca. 15 Uhr gab es nachmittags eine Jause, Kaffee und Kuchen. Das Hotel hat eine schöne Lage und bietet einen günstigen Dreiviertelpensionspreis mit kostenfreier Tiefgarage. Ganz nah beim Hotel ist gleich die Talstation einer Gondelbahn. Unten im Tal in Sankt Johann gibt es einen sehr schönen flachen Radweg flussauf und -abwärts für längere Radtouren. Bei unserem günstigen Hotelpreis war noch ein Wellnessgutschein in Höhe von 80 e pro Person inbegriffen. Die Massage war sehr gut.

We booked the Lifestyle Suite for three nights. The room was simply stunning! A fantastic balcony with a view of the mountains. The rooftop pool is a real highlight! The breakfast is delicious and varied.
Unfortunately, the spa area could be improved; it's located in the basement and feels a bit cramped. However, there is a sauna outside in a log cabin, which I really liked. This hotel is definitely worth a visit!

The location is a bit out of the way but fairly central and there is a huge playground for children in the community. Trenten has been voted the most child-friendly community. The hotel has been recently renovated and at first glance makes a great impression. The rooms are modern but the bathrooms in both of our rooms smelled bad! Unfortunately, there is nothing for children in the hotel. There is an indoor and outdoor pool on the 4th floor, but it is smaller than in the pictures and more for adults. The wellness area is very manageable with 2 saunas and a steam bath. The only drawback in the sauna is that there are no towels. You only get one per day without asking. The food has to be ordered in the evening for the next day. It's a bit unusual but the quality is very good and everyone enjoys it. The service at the food is poor. They just bring one course after the other until all the courses have been eaten. The service is nice but there are just not enough people. Reception and all the staff are very helpful and friendly. Since the hotel advertises itself as 4 star superior, this shouldn't be the case. Visually, everything fits, but everything else just deserves 4 stars. The price/performance ratio could be better. I also think the reviews on the relevant portals aren't all authentic. Our family was already disappointed.

I'm asking myself, what do I expect from a 4-star hotel? Friendliness, good service, good food, a nice wellness area, to name just a few.
Unfortunately, some of these criteria were only partially met. Above all, the owner's friendliness was anything but warm. No thank you at checkout, not a kind word. Disappointing!
The pool and rooms, on the other hand, were very nice, and the food was also delicious. This hotel would be a wonderful 3-star establishment.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to discerning travelers.

Das Haus war sehr gut eingerichtet und Service, Zimmer, Verpflegung u.a. mit 5 Gänge-Menü war ausgezeichnet. Alle Angestellten und auch Eigner waren immer sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Lage des Hotels auf der Sonnenseite und auch der Pool oben auf dem Dach mit Ausblick bis zu den Dolomiten. Ein sehr schönes Erlebnis und wir haben es sehr genossen.

Sehr gepflegtes, familiär geführtes Hotel. Wunderbar renoviert. Gerade auch die Zimmer sind sehr hohen Ansprüchen gewachsen. Verkehrstechnisch günstig gelegen. Etwa 15 min von der Autobahn, in ca. 40 min kann man (bei schlechtem Wetter) auch in Bozen sein. Es gibt einen Hausberg (Eidechsspitze), aber auch die anderen Ziele in den Dolomiten sind in überschaubarer Zeit erreichbar.

Der Spa Bereich war richtig klasse und auch der neu gestaltete Pool auf dem Dach hatte tolles Flair mit Blick auf die Berge. Wir haben dieses Jahr im Skiurlaub zum ersten Mal den Schritt über den Brenner gewagt, im Hotel "Terentnerhof" gewohnt und keine Sekunde davon bereut. Die Anreise ist problemlos, das Hotel leicht zu finden, und spätestens die nette Mail kurz vor der Anreise klärt letzte Fragen. Im Hotel sind einige Garagenplätze vorhanden, mit den Parkplätzen vor dem Hotel ist aber ausreichend Platz vorhanden. Der Empfang am Tresen ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind großzügig, hell, sauber und freundlich. Das Bad ist ausreichend groß und (zumindest unser Zimmer) mit Bidet versehen. Der Balkon ist angenehm groß und mit Tisch und zwei Stühlen versehen. Die von uns gebuchte Halbpension verwandelte sich ohne Aufpreis in eine 3/4-Pension, die wir so bisher noch nicht erlebt hatten. Das heisst, dass jeden nachmittag gratis Kaffee, Tee, Tiroler Schinken, Brot, Brötchen und 2 Sorten selbstgebackenen Kuchen, was uns sehr gefallen und geschmeckt hat. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich mit verschiedenen Käsesorten, verschiedener Wurst, Marmelade, gekochten Eiern und auf Wunsch Rühreiern oder Spiegeleiern. Der Kaffee schmeckt auffallend gut für ein Hotel. Das Abendessen war immer lecker und abwechslungsreich mit Salat, Vorsuppe, Auswahlmöglichkeit zwischen zwei Speisen als kleinem ersten Gang, drei Hauptgerichten (davon ein vegetarisches) und zwei oder drei Nachspeisen. Auch die Möglichkeit, einfaches Wasser aus der Karaffe zum Wein dazu zu trinken war für uns neu, aber sehr angenehm. Da Terenten keinen eigenen richtigen Skihang hat, ist man entweder auf den Skibus (mit dem vom Hotel kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellten Ticket zu nutzen) oder das eigene Auto angewiesen. Da der Skibus aber genau vor dem Hotel hält und dort auch eingesetzt wird, ist ein Sitzplatz auf dem ca. 40minütigem Weg zum Kronplatz garantiert. Bei guter Sicht stehen dort viele gut präparierte Pisten und sehr viele heimelige Hütten zur Verfügung, wir hatten kaum Wartezeiten an den Liften. Weiterhin bietet das Hotel über den Tourismusverband zwei von Skilehrern geführte Touren an, welche beide nur zu empfehlen sind. Die erste ist eine Tour in der Sella Ronda, welche problemlos von Skifahrern bewältigt werden kann, welche über das Schneepflugstadium hinaus sind. Auch als Snowboarder hat man hier Spaß. Die zweite Tour wird als Kriegertour angeboten und führt als Giro della guerra auf den Spuren der Gebirgsjäger im 1. Weltkrieg. Wir haben auf der Tour zwar nur relativ wenig Historisches gesehen. Da wir aber im Skiurlaub und nicht auf Bildungsreise waren, haben wir die grandiosen Aussichten, tollen Abfahrten mit sehr gut präparierten Pisten und mit relativ wenig Betrieb sehr genossen. Hier sind einige Ziehwege zu bewältigen, welche die Tour aus meiner Sicht für Snowboarder ungeeignet erscheinen lässt. Eine lustige Idee fanden wir auch, einen kurzen Teil der Strecke (insgesamt 62 km) durch Festhalten an einem Seil hinter einem zweispännigem Pferdeschlitten zu bewältigen. Die dafür verlangten 2,50 €/Person sind ok. Das gesamte Personal war zu jeder Zeit zuvorkommend und aufrichtig freundlich. Der Speiseraum ist geräumig, hell und regionaltypisch eingerichtet. Im gesamten Hotel ist kostenloses WLAN vorhanden. Jeder Gast kann mit einem Endgerät gleichzeitig surfen. Wenn man wirklich ein Haar in der Suppe suchen möchte, wäre hier etwas mehr Geschwindigkeit (z.B. zum Weiterleiten von Videos per WA) wünschenswert. Da wir aber im Urlaub waren und nicht Videokonferenzen, Downloads der neuesten Filme etc. durchführen wollten, fanden wir die WLAN-Geschwindigkeit für unsere Zwecke ausreichend. Insgesamt war es für uns der schönste Winterurlaub bisher - und wir hatten schon viele Hotels in mehreren Skigebieten. Wir werden auf jeden Fall versuchen, den Skiurlaub auch im nächsten Jahr wieder im Hotel "Terentnerhof" verbringen zu können. Zimmertipp: ggf. bestehende Präferenzen für Dusche oder Badewanne sollten bereits bei der Buchung geäußert werde ...

Ottimo ambiente, sia nell'area benessere sia nelle splendide camere e negli spazi dedicati alle meravigliose degustazioni culinarie! A completare la magia, il delizioso paese di Terento costantemente baciato dai sole. Conosco molto bene l'alto Adige e sicuramente la vacanza appena trascorsa conferma la Pusteria come un luogo straordinario!
