Die Beleuchtung in den Fluren war immer so, als würde die Sonne scheinen. Die Bedienungen bei dem immer sehr leckeren Essen waren zuvorkommend und kannten bereits nach kurzer Zeit die Vorlieben und Wünsche der Gäste

+ We had a wonderful time in Hofern, which of course also had to do with the wonderful pampering program at your hotel. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to thank you again and wish your family and all the staff all the best. Everything is fantastically well-thought-out, the service above average. The entire hotel is very clean. The temperatures in the wellness area and in the pool were just right, which is not a given these days. The morning buffet was fantastic and had a large selection with many local products. The eggs are freshly fried and scrambled, and every wish is fulfilled ;-). We also found the evening menu and the afternoon buffet very delicious. A lot of work certainly goes into maintaining this standard. Stay as you are. We had a wonderful time. See you soon!

+ We've stayed at Waldruhe several times. Mostly in the off-season. We're there with our large dog and feel very welcome. The location is perfect as a starting point for a variety of tours. At breakfast, there's always a great tip for the day or tour recommendations. The food and the staff are excellent. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. + We stayed at this hotel for almost a week in August, staying on a 3/4-board basis with our dog. Positive: - Very dedicated service staff in the restaurant. - Very high-quality dinner dishes. - Very nice sauna and steam bath facilities. The pool in the basement is freely accessible to everyone; the pool on the roof terrace on the 4th floor is only for people aged 16 and over, which significantly reduces the noise level. - Very good location, ideal for exploring nature and extensive excursions. - Very nice and clean rooms! Contrary: - The food offerings are very meat-focused; vegetarians have a relatively small selection. - The hotel's website explicitly advertises vegetarian menus, but you can only choose a vegetarian alternative for the main course; you have no control over the frequently offered meat-based appetizers. - All drinks cost extra and are NOT included in the price. Even a simple carafe of tap water costs a hefty €3.00. This can quickly lead to unforeseen additional costs, especially for families staying for several days. - The afternoon "cake buffet," which started at 3:30 p.m., was too late in our opinion and too close to dinner (6:00 p.m.). The selection was also very limited; it could more accurately be described as "snack time." - Unfortunately, the quietness of the hotel is a bit of an issue. The hotel can't do anything about the construction site next door, but the construction noise (usually starting at 7:00 a.m.) still wakes you up quite quickly. I also understand that children can sometimes get louder when playing. Unfortunately, the hotel courtyard acts as a sound funnel, which then carries the screaming to the upper floors. - A romantic package was added to our final bill, even though we demonstrably hadn't booked it (booking confirmation). Upon inquiry, this item was removed from the bill. - For summer visitors or dog owners: The rooms do NOT have active air conditioning, which quickly makes it uncomfortable in warmer temperatures. Upon inquiry at the reception, the hotel does not even have portable fans available. - For dog owners: The hotel advertises its dog-friendliness, but there isn't even a single water bowl readily available for our four-legged friends anywhere in the hotel. Furthermore, the hotel website lists an additional charge of €18.00 per night for a dog. We were then asked to pay a lump sum of €25.00 at check-out, with the explanation: "We have a large dog, which would cost more" (a Golden Retriever). Upon inquiry and reference to the website, we were only charged €18. Conclusion: The hotel clearly has some positive aspects, but unfortunately, the negative aspects clearly outweigh the negative ones (especially for dog owners or vegetarians). This hotel may be suitable for families with children who are happy to accept the additional costs. The dinner (vegetarian options should be expanded!) and the service staff in the restaurant are excellent! This hotel is not recommended for pet owners in the summer.

+ We stayed there for a week and had a fantastic stay. The service was top-notch, and the food selection was incredible, and the quality left nothing to be desired. Parking is very good on-site. The service was quick and attentive. The breakfast buffet is very extensive and varied, with great regional products. There are plenty of activities and hikes in the surrounding area. The scenery and view from the hotel are stunning. In the afternoon, there are small snacks and cakes. In the evening, there is a fantastic 5-6 course menu that is top-notch in terms of quality and presentation – truly fantastic. The rest of the evening is a pleasant time spent at the bar with delicious cocktails. The spa area is located in one room upstairs on the top floor with a whirlpool and sauna, and in the other room in the basement with a small pool and steam room. Hot and cold drinks are available to everyone free of charge. The rooms are clean and nicely furnished. We also had a comfortable bed and a large bathroom with a walk-in shower.

+ A high-class hotel with limitations. We had a great view and were generally satisfied. The hotel itself is good, the service pleasant, and the options good. The only thing that stands out is that no one clears away empty plates or glasses. The service could also be much more attentive when reordering. It's friendly and not bad, but it falls short of its potential.

+ Spectacular hotel. Super friendly owners and very open to all the guests' requests. The rooms, mainly in wood, are large and offer maximum comfort. The Spa area and the two pools are very relaxing (maybe the lower one would have been better a little warmer, but it's just a small side note). The meals are amazing: a wide choice for omnivores, carnivores, vegetarians, vegans: lactose intolerant and celiacs. The location is also very convenient for reaching Kronplatz (15 minutes by car) and Brunico (approx. 20 minutes). We will definitely be back️

+ A fantastic experience in this super hotel. The spa is beautiful, especially the one on the 4th floor, which is adults only and boasts a panoramic Finnish sauna, showers, and a panoramic hydromassage overlooking the Plan de Corones. The rooms are spacious; we had room 304 with a view of the area. The bathroom is very large, it's a shame there's no bidet. We took advantage of the 3/4 board; breakfast, snack from 3:30 pm to 5 pm, and dinner. You can easily wait for snack time to have lunch, as a large breakfast can leave you hungry later. The staff is very kind. I would point out that the herbal tea area needs to be refilled several times, as sometimes the drinks that were missing were not replaced. Overall rating 9/10

This would make dinner much more relaxing for parents. The nearest town for strolling, dining, etc. is Bruneck, which is a bit further away. Bressanone is about 30 minutes away.

+ Das Hotel liegt wunderbar eingebettet im Wald über Kiens und wird seinem Namen absolut gerecht. Das Personal und die Gastgeberfamilie waren äusserst sympathisch und zuvorkommend und erfüllten möglichst alle Wünsche. Der kleine, aber feine Spa-Bereich mit Sauna, Dampfbad, Jacuzzi und Pool lud zum Entspannen nach einem aktiven Urlaubstag ein. Das Essen war sehr gut mit einer grossen Auswahl zum Frühstück sowie auch am Abend. Das Zimmer bot einen herrlichen Ausblick in die Natur, war sehr geräumig und vor allem extrem ruhig. Dank der guten Lage konnten sämtliche Ausflüge per öffentlichem Bus mit der Gratis-Gästekarte unternommen werden. Aber auch direkt vom Hotel aus fanden wir zahlreiche Wanderwege, so dass das Auto während der gesamten Urlaubszeit stehen gelassen werden konnte. Das Hotel entsprach in jeder Hinsicht unseren Wünschen und wir verbrachten eine genussvolle und erholsame Woche in der Waldruhe.

+ We had a really nice week in this hotel! The food was simply great – breakfast and dinner were perfect and well organized. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We also liked the little gift on New Year's Eve, the personalized clay lucky pig on every table. We particularly liked the upper spa area for adults only. The view is fantastic! However, it would be nice if there was tea there, like in the lower area, so that you don't have to walk down. During our stay there were two infusions that were really great. An infusion every day would be even better. :-) The rooms were not only clean, but also beautifully decorated - just like the entire hotel. We also found the location great: quiet, but still ideal for taking nice trips by car, e.g. B. to Lake Braies. Overall, a great hotel that we would love to come back to!

+ Wonderful half-board stay. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The bedding is very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are of the highest quality. The dishes served at dinner are refined and beautifully presented, a true delight. The decorations on our table changed every day. Impeccable service. The entire staff is lovely and at your service. The spa is superb, especially the jacuzzi located on the 4th floor with mountain views. We were able to stay with our large dog without any problems for a small additional fee (€18 per day). In winter, the nearest ski resort is Kronplatz, less than 10 minutes by car, or you can take the free ski bus service 500m from the hotel. You are less than 10 minutes from Brunico, a sublime little town. To reach the main Dolomite spots, allow between 50 and 60 minutes one way.

+ We would love to visit the hotel again. We went skiing. The ski bus was available for hotel guests, with two-hour departures in the morning and afternoon. It's only 15 minutes to Kronplatz. You can use the hotel's ski storage room, or there are paid lockers at Kronplatz. We're glad we opted for the half-board option, as dinner was delicious. Dinner was served at the table and there was something different every day. The adults-only spa on the 4th floor is excellent. Another plus is the mineral water throughout the building and natural cosmetics (which are important for those with sensitive skin). The lobby is cozy with a fireplace and games. The hotel staff was also very friendly, helpful, and understanding ️ And the mountain views... what more could you want?

+ We were a large group of 33 people. We had a separate room for communal meals, for which we are very grateful. We were able to talk and spend time together in peace. The hotel was very well-maintained and clean, with a large and extensive spa area. On the first floor, there was a dry and wet sauna, a swimming pool, and also a sauna and jacuzzi on the roof. The only suggestion would be to warm up the jacuzzi and outdoor pool; the rest was impeccable. The breakfast and dinner were plentiful, everything delicious and beautifully presented. It would have been nice if there had been more variety at breakfast—sometimes sausages, sometimes salmon or other fish. The staff were always smiling and helpful. The children didn't bother the staff, which we are very grateful for, as I know that can be a problem sometimes. Thank you very much for a lovely stay; we will have only positive memories. Thank you to the restaurant staff. We were sad to leave such a beautiful place and such a pleasant atmosphere. I hope to see you next time!

+ A wonderful hotel, in a wonderful location with wonderful staff! I usually never return to the same place, but I'll definitely consider staying here! The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout, the pool isn't huge but adequate, with an outdoor exit and an outdoor hot tub. I tried a back massage, which was fabulous. The food was good, especially the desserts, and there's a special children's menu. The 3/4 board option is excellent, with breakfast, a snack from 3:30 to 5:30 PM, and dinner. It's basically like full board. Drinks with meals are available for a fee, a bit pricey, but that's okay. The sauna area isn't huge, but it's adequate, depending on how busy it is. What struck me most was the kindness of the staff; everyone was wonderful.

+ The nature hotel is conveniently located on the edge of the forest, is a comfortable size for the number of rooms, and the staff is friendly and courteous. The overall cleanliness and room service are also top-notch. Unfortunately, the hotel is very noisy. This was particularly negative in our case: We had an apartment directly above the kitchen, and as a result, every morning, sometimes well before and sometimes after 6 a.m., we experienced noises and vibrations that were well beyond tolerable and did not live up to the hotel's name. On the first night, there was also a droning noise, which was probably caused by a defective cooling unit, and which we were able to stop after we reported it. Unfortunately, the other noises persisted throughout our entire stay. Even after repeated complaints from our side, there was no response. This is not appropriate for a hotel of this comfort and price range. In any case, we can't imagine that these inconveniences, especially in this room directly above the entrance to the hotel kitchen and the recreation area for smoking hotel employees, had not been noticed before. In any case, it is not suitable for guests who want peace and relaxation.

+ Very nice hotel The rooms are very nicely furnished and clean. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast/dinner was excellent. The pool area was also very nice. The hotel itself has very nicely designed public areas. Ample parking is available at the hotel. There is also a small children's playground right next to the hotel. One minor criticism is the children's playroom, which is located in the basement without natural light. It would be nice if it at least had natural light. However, I don't want to deduct any stars for this, as this is only a minor issue and only affects families with children. There is also a nice outdoor children's playground. We would book this hotel again in a heartbeat.

+ My girlfriend and I spent a week at the nature hotel "Die Waldruhe." The area is truly beautiful and a great base for many hikes. We were also satisfied with our room. The swing on the balcony is particularly inviting for relaxation, as are the steam bath and the massages. The service staff deserves special mention; they were always very friendly and attentive. However, we would only recommend the hotel to vegetarians with reservations. The kitchen is very good, which is evident in the meat and fish dishes. However, the website advertises vegetarian menus that, in fact, do not exist. We had clarified before, during booking, and at check-in that we would like a purely vegetarian menu (no fish). No one on site knew anything about this. However, we were informed that my girlfriend would always receive her own vegetarian dish (soup, appetizer), which was not listed on the menu. In effect, however, the fish or meat components were simply omitted. Even upon request, no alternative was offered. If, for example, I leave out the bacon on my bread and don't replace it with cheese, I'm missing a filling component and a lack of flavor; it tastes bland. Vegetarian cuisine doesn't just mean omitting components. That's why my girlfriend skipped one or two courses each evening. There was always a vegetarian alternative for the main course. However, here too, it became apparent that the focus was on fish and meat dishes, which consisted of several components. The vegetarian main course seemed unimaginative in comparison (e.g., stuffed zucchini with rice and diced tomatoes, with some rice on the side). One positive thing to note is that there is a children's menu that offers pasta with tomato sauce and Schlutzkrapfen as a vegetarian main course, which can be chosen alternatively. My girlfriend had Schlutzkrapfen as her main course on three days and found them very tasty. Nevertheless, expectations for a 4-star hotel that advertises vegetarian cuisine are different, especially since the price is the same and the non-vegetarian dishes clearly show great potential. We would have liked to see more outdoor loungers in the wellness area, as they are far from sufficient, at least during peak season.

+ An oasis of nature, well-being, and silence. The room (216) is extraordinary for its cleanliness, order, and the scent of wood. The bathroom is large and the terrace is perfect. You sleep under a summer duvet! Perhaps some of the linens could use a fresh one; upon arrival, the sheet had a hole and a towel was leaking a bit, but after the first change, everything was impeccable. The breakfast buffet was thrilling, and dinner included a buffet of appetizers and a set menu in the morning. Waste is strictly prohibited! The cuisine is traditional, yet light, healthy, and appropriately portioned. The pace of service is commendable, making it easy to digest. Wines, even by the glass, are beautifully presented and cater to all tastes. Access to the spa (salus per aquam) is brilliant, considering that the top floor is reserved for adults and the view of the outdoor whirlpool is breathtaking. The Wi-Fi is excellent, without even needing a password. A warm thought goes to the young people who are involved in the internships and who serve at the tables and in the spa. Family-like, yet professional. Perhaps, if we were to find room for improvement, it would be nice if all the staff could communicate in Italian, but that didn't stop us from making ourselves understood and being satisfied with the service. One of the reasons I felt at home was the presence of a sweet cat who accompanied us throughout our memorable stay. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who took care of our precious vacation days.

The food is fantastic and leaves nothing to be desired. We had the most beautiful spot in the restaurant with a view of the Plan de Corones. + The best and most beautiful hotel for miles around. The rooms are top-notch and stylishly furnished. Two saunas and a rooftop whirlpool invite you not only to linger but also to relax. + Top, best food we've ever had in a hotel. The absolute highlight was the Sweet Temptation evening with dessert buffet. It's a smaller hotel, which we really like; we were there as a couple in February. The wellness area opens a little late for our taste, but we think it's because the hotel is in the ski area and all the skiers are on the slopes in the morning. Unfortunately, the drawback was that the wellness area is split into two floors (at the very top and at the very bottom), and unfortunately there is no drinks station and no relaxation room upstairs. After the sauna it was a bit disturbing to go a few floors lower. And upstairs the room is a bit awkward because there are very few options for lying down and there is no real peace and quiet. After the sauna, people come directly to the room where the few people are lying. But all in all we were satisfied. Drinks are not included in the small buffet at lunchtime. Huge room for the price, really great.

+ Nice hotel. Satisfactory all around. Room has minor issues: broken shower head, broken bathroom light. The double bed only has an outlet on one side, very outdated. The breakfast buffet is very monotonous, with little to no variety in terms of cold cuts and toppings. With one exception, the evening menu is hard to beat: what does the soup chef do for a living? Monotonous, tasteless, thin, and boring. Staff super friendly, clean rooms with a green footprint. The shower area in front of the sauna is far too smooth/slippery, even a "Caution: Slippery" sign doesn't help.

+ This was our second time skiing at this hotel, and we were completely satisfied. The hotel perfectly matched our expectations based on the pictures. The staff was very friendly, and the food was excellent. Both the evening salad buffet and the breakfast were more than ample. The ski bus stops less than 200 meters from the hotel and takes you directly to the Kronenplatz ski area in 15-20 minutes. The spa area is clean and very modern, as are the rooms. Highly recommended; we would gladly return.

+ Das Hotel befidet sich am Waldrand, weit ab einer befahrenen Straße, ruhige Lage, idyllisch. Die Zimmer und die Aufenthaltsräume sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Betten sind bequem. Das Dampfbad und die Saunen sind modern, komfortabel und sehr gut gepflegt. Die Aussicht zur Talseite ist sehr schön. Das Essen (Gourmet-Charakter) sowie das Angebot an Vorspeisen wie Salate waren delikat. Das Frühstück war reichlich und sehr gut auf persönliche Bedürfnise abgestimmt. Jeden Abend wurde die Tisch-Deko geschmackvoll geändert. Jedes Essen zur Selbstbedienung wurde zeitnah wieder aufgefüllt. Das Personal war äußerst zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Die Massagen waren erholsam und entspannend.

The only note about the room, we had room 303, the bathroom does not have a window, there is a glass at the top that overlooks the room and when you are in the bathroom with the light on in the room it really bothers you, it seems like a day in my opinion that needs to be seen again, in the end I recommend a few more degrees in the pool. For the rest I had a great breakfast and dinner as well as the afternoon snack.

Children took the ski bus to the slopes, we sometimes went directly from the hotel or a few kilometers by car to the hiking car park and started the hiking tours from there. Tours were recommended by the hotel upon request. The food was overwhelming, very varied and delicious.

+ Always very nice This is our second time staying at this hotel, this time in the winter. We were pleasantly surprised by both the snow-covered landscape of Corti di Chienes in the Puster Valley and the welcome we received upon arrival. This family-run hotel is truly beautiful, with meticulous attention to detail and very clean. We chose a Junior Suite, furnished in natural colors and featuring a large terrace overlooking the forest. It's very functional and comfortable. The restaurant offers a five-course evening menu with a choice of delicious dishes made with excellent ingredients, as well as a well-stocked appetizer and salad buffet. The young, friendly, and very professional wait staff are on hand. The breakfast buffet is excellent in terms of both variety and quality, both sweet and savory. The afternoon snack is a bonus. The wellness area is beautiful, though not very large, with both an indoor and outdoor pool, sauna area, and relaxation area. The prices are very fair for the service provided. We will definitely be back.

A few points of criticism: - It would be cool if the spa area were open later in the evening, until 10 o'clock or so. - It would be great if the children's beds weren't so narrow and were open at the bottom. A softer pillow and a slightly softer mattress would also be nice. - We once ordered a jug of water, which cost €3, which I think is a bit much. But otherwise, a great hotel, a great place to relax, we'd love to come back!

+ It was a wonderful holiday. The hotel is in a very quiet location. The property is beautiful. The staff were always very kind and friendly!! The food was very good, the cuisine was very unique and gourmet (if you don't like the daily specials, you can choose more classic dishes, and there's also a children's menu). I tried a treatment at the spa, which was fantastic. The breakfast and afternoon snacks had a wide selection of sweet and savory options. The room was cleaned excellently. The only negative is the price of water, which ranges from €3 to €4.20, which is a bit high for those of us who don't drink alcohol or beer. However, having eaten out for lunch, we noticed that even in the mountain huts they charged this price, even though they had spring water in the tap. So, it's normal.

+ We booked the Waldruhe at relatively short notice as a stopover on our way to Italy. It was an absolute stroke of luck. The service was excellent: no matter what our concerns were, they responded quickly every time. As a family with young children, it's important to us that there is a beautiful wellness area and top-notch service. We travel a lot, so we can easily compare prices. There's a great playground for children, and breakfast and dinner were very good. The afternoon snack was also lovingly prepared. As always, there are a few minor areas for improvement, but the passion of the staff and their managers prevailed. Everyone was motivated and proactive. It's a great place to unwind nearby while exploring the Kronplatz. We would love to come back.

+ We had a pleasant and charming time at this hotel. The setting is quaint and the maintenance standard is high. The breakfast and dinner food quality is high, not outstanding but definitely the good 4 star standard that is advertised. The same is true of the spa areas. Bonus points for cute extras like a daily cake buffet in the afternoon, e-bikes, two cute cats and a ping pong table. Where I deduct one star is some of the service elements and the approach to smoking. Service is pleasant, but does not go far. I asked (twice) to iron a couple of shirts (willing to iron myself or pay) with 3 days’ notice and I was literally sent to drive to the nearest town (10km) to find a dry cleaner for myself. On the smoking, our open room windows usually opened to a serene forest calm, unfortunately interrupted every 15mins by the stench of various neighbours smoking on their nearby balconies. This is a major problem. The same is true of the terrace. Smoking ought to be banned everywhere except out front.

Clean, the staff is professional and friendly (waitresses Sandra, Yasmine, and Fatima are skilled and kind), the food is EXTRAORDINARY, both for the choice of ingredients and their preparation (special praise—no offense to the other two chefs who oversaw the equally superb first and second courses and side dishes—goes to chef Lisa: her desserts are a delight for both the eyes and the palate! Thank you!). It's also important to highlight the vegan cuisine and attention to allergy sufferers. Large rooms with breathtaking views. There are two spas, one for adults only, with an outdoor pool offering a SPECTACULAR view of the Dolomites. The services are also efficient (hiking maps, tips, free trekking poles). The afternoon snack is a bonus. Furthermore, Corti is excellently served by public transportation. The rooms are well-maintained and promptly cleaned (every request was kindly accommodated). + The hotel has a nice ambience with tasteful interiors that are modern and cozy. The room was small, but that didn't bother us. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Special requests for food are always responded to in a friendly manner. The food is good but nothing more. The same starter buffet every day and the main courses are extremely small. Wine list is good, but 10.40 for 1/4 wine is very steep. What we didn't like at all is the tiny outdoor lounge area. The indoor pool had somewhat cloudy water. Didn't make a clean impression on me. Towels in the wellness area are missing. You have to lie on the wet towel after swimming. This urgently needs to be improved. All in all a nice mid-range hotel and recommended with small children.

+ We stayed at the Naturhotel Waldruhe for 8 nights in March 2023. We booked it 4 days before arrival – a very spontaneous decision, but the right one! We were so impressed that we booked again on-site for May, unfortunately in a different room than in March. We received a very warm welcome upon arrival, and check-in was quick. The location is wonderfully quiet with good parking facilities. Electric vehicle charging stations are available. We booked a Natur Zirn suite. The room was modern and clean, everything was spotless, and there was plenty of storage space for our luggage. The ambiance was very modern with lots of wood. The breakfast was excellent with a wide selection of cheeses and cold cuts; they even had goat's butter. The cuisine was outstanding, with great salads and a good variety of dishes. The tables were set differently every evening. The hotel seemed very well-run, all the staff were very friendly, and you could tell they were all passionate about what they did. It was also a plus that the owners were both involved. The massage treatments were excellent, and the spa area was clean and beautiful. There were two pools and two saunas. The hotel's location is ideal for excursions to the Dolomites, e.g., the Three Peaks or Lake Prags; hiking trails are easily accessible on foot, with good signage.

+ We found the hotel by chance and booked it because the price/performance ratio was great; other nearby hotels were significantly more expensive! The plus points: - We had the room with the sauna. The room was really large and spacious. - The service was very friendly! I'd like to highlight Simon at the reception, who was so friendly and served the best Hugo. - Gluten-free was no problem; the girls had it freshly baked every morning without me having to ask. No problem at all at dinner either. - The food was consistently delicious. I just wouldn't need the black bread soup again;) - Quiet area; you couldn't really hear much from the adjoining rooms either. The following could be improved: - Cheese and sausage should be served chilled at breakfast. The salami looked ruined from day one. - Wellness area is okay. The pool upstairs is nice, but the sun loungers up there were unfortunately rather poor. There are sun loungers down by the indoor pool, but it's just very warm there. Ventilation would have been good. We preferred to use our sauna in the room. - No air conditioning in the room. In March, it was sometimes quite warm at night. - The view from the room might be a bit confusing in the pictures. Our room didn't have a real forest view to the front, but was directly above the entrance. - Electric charging station available, but really poorly located. Parking in front of the house isn't allowed, only charging and uncharging. Otherwise, you should park 100 meters further in the large parking lot. Certain guests (always the same ones) were apparently too lazy and stood there all week, blocking everything. Sometimes it was almost impossible to get to the electric charging station. Please do more research on this! Why don't they ask for the license plate number and ask guests about it? - Charging an electric car is a bit of a rip-off. There's a price list, depending on the kWh battery. Our car has a 100 kWh battery, so we would have to pay for that, even though we were still 50% full...why isn't it billed based on usage? - Soap/shower gel/shampoo weren't in the room, but Simon took care of it right away. Overall, it was truly unbeatable for the price, and we would come back. There's still room for improvement in some areas.

The pool and sauna in the basement are fine, both indoors and outdoors. Breakfast, lunchtime snacks, and dinner are excellent, and the service and kitchen are quick and courteous. Any intolerances are addressed immediately and taken into account throughout your stay. Very professional. E-bikes can be rented at the hotel for a fee of €25-30. There are countless hiking trails nearby, at least one toboggan run, a ski lift, and much more. The nearest larger supermarket is a short distance away. Absolutely fantastic hotel, great value for money, and excellent service. We'll definitely be back!

+ My partner and I decided to go to this hotel for a relaxing five-day break, as we usually spend a few days of vacation each year lost in the beautiful surroundings of Trentino. We came across this nature hotel, and from the photos, it looked like the perfect solution for us. The setting was beautiful and the attention to detail was truly amazing! ROOM RATING It's good, beautiful, spacious, and roomy (as per the booking photo). Pros: Spacious, bright, and well-furnished. Cons: In 5 nights, they never replaced our bathrobes. Uncomfortable pillows. Glasses upside down on the furniture without a coaster. No toiletries except for a small bar of solid soap. SPA RATING Pros: Fabulous infinity pool on the fourth floor. Spacious Turkish bath, sauna, and pool. Clean spa complex. Cons: Never a single person present in the designated area to ask for anything. They advertise fresh fruit, but there's only a fruit bowl with uninspected apples (I found rotten apples two days in a row!) BAR RATING Pros: Wide selection. Friendly bartenders. Cons: I ordered a grappa at the bar and asked for a glass of water, which was given to me from the TAP!!! AND I AM CHARGED 1 EURO (SHAMEFUL) I'll pay for the water, but at least give me mineral water!! Most of the staff doesn't speak Italian! We're in Italy, and many people, perhaps elderly, don't speak enough languages to make themselves understood! FOOD RATING Pros: Very beautifully presented dishes Average food Cons: Unacceptable for a 4-star hotel to shamelessly recycle food (I'm against waste), but never in this way, not even in a 2-star hotel! Breakfast desserts served for snack time and even the next day Bare appetizer, always the same every night, especially from the night before Supermarket donut I understand the price increases for ingredients, etc., but don't even think about losing face! Provide a carafe of tap water for snack time! It's a credit to you! Attentive waiters bring food to the table without checking if cutlery is available! At €220 a night, I think it's the least I can do to give the customer the best! The thing that disappointed me the most was the food! Poor and zero choice! We had already contacted the hotel before our arrival and felt in good hands because we were assured that food intolerances could be accommodated. And our expectations were not only met, but exceeded. Unfortunately, I can't list all of them, so here are just the most important ones: - The staff and hotel management were extremely friendly and attentive. - There are many positive things to say about the food alone: It was simply outstanding, and there were delicious alternatives for our intolerances. - The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and lovingly furnished. - The wellness area is beautiful, and the view from the sauna or the whirlpool on the roof over the valley is a dream. + We felt welcome and comfortable from the very first minute. The nature hotel is a family-run business, and the owners were always present and attentive, even at breakfast and dinner. The lobby and bar are very cozy; you could have a nice chat and a nightcap there in the evening. The four-course dinner was delicious and of very high quality. The plates were beautifully presented – presentation is key. Our suite was lovely, furnished with love and lots of wood, and had a very large, sunny terrace where we could relax wonderfully. The rooftop sauna offers a fantastic panoramic view of the meadows and mountains. We had our dog with us and were able to take wonderful hikes and walks directly from the hotel. We also rented the fantastic Cube mountain e-bikes for a few days and enjoyed some lovely tours, even with a dog trailer, on the bike paths around Kiens. All in all, a perfect holiday.

+ I had a great time. The Deluxe rooms are comfortable, with a small balcony and a nice bathroom. There's a lovely woody scent. I appreciated the solid detergents in the bathroom. The food is excellent and varied, the staff is kind and discreet, and everyone is well-trained and competent (Nathan is exceptional; I was particularly impressed). The pool and spa areas are not bad (I enjoyed the hot tub on the fourth floor). I'll be back!

The rooms were comfortable, but at the end of our stay, we were charged for changing the bathrobes in our room. This was NOT made clear upon our arrival, nor was there any notice in the room. The pool was overall okay, but there were far too many insects and bees in the outdoor area. I would recommend a treatment to avoid any unpleasant inconveniences. I stayed with my family for 6 days; overall, it was a relaxing stay. The dinner and breakfast were excellent, with a great variety of dishes.

+ Newly renovated/expanded hotel with a focus on sustainability, ideal starting point for a fantastic active holiday in South Tyrol. Super friendly staff throughout the hotel, beautiful rooms with lots of wood, a good spa area, and reasonable value for money (as of May 2022). Children and dogs are welcome at this hotel. I recommend booking directly through the hotel's website and not through booking platforms. This way, you'll have friendly contact and can exchange information about your holiday planning even before arrival. We arrived early to make the most of the day. A breakfast table is prepared upon request. This costs a few euros, but it's reasonable. Check-in can also be done immediately (it's best to do it online from home once you receive the email). The room is then available from around noon. There is free parking about 50 meters from the hotel (visible from the driveway). The lobby is beautifully designed, and the reception staff are always friendly and very helpful with any questions. Natan and Simon give excellent tips for hikes, bike tours, and other excursions. The rooms are spacious and mostly furnished in wood. This makes them very cozy, and the comfortable beds are perfect for a good night's sleep. Towels, bathrobes, etc., are provided free of charge. Shampoos, creams, etc., in small tubes are NOT available. Instead, there is solid soap, which is unpackaged, vegan, and plastic-free. This is fantastic and reflects the hotel's commitment to sustainability. Typical hotel slippers are provided, but if you bring your own slippers or flip-flops, the environment will thank you. Breakfast is served buffet-style. There is also an omelet station and a blender for making vegetable smoothies. Coffee, good quality juices, cold cuts, cheeses, jams, muesli, cakes, etc., are also available. In the afternoon, a light snack/snack and cake are offered. Those wanting the full selection should arrive on time, as not everything is constantly replenished. Some items may be sold out. This is a good thing, as it helps avoid overproduction and food waste. Drinks are extra. Dinner begins with a generous salad buffet. This is followed by a served soup and an appetizer. For the main course, you choose from three options at breakfast. Dessert usually includes a sweet treat and cheese from the buffet. Drinks are extra. We were usually served by Martin and Roman. Both are professionals and also make delicious drinks. The prices are typical for South Tyrolean hotels, I would say: cappuccino €2.80, beer (0.5 liters) €5.50, Aperol Spritz and other Spritz variations €5.50. I found €11 for a cocktail a bit steep, so we didn't order one. The spa area is spread over two floors. The lower level houses the spa facilities, indoor and outdoor pools, a fantastic steam room, a sauna, and relaxation rooms with massage beds. On the roof, on the 4th floor (access only for those 16 and older), there's a panoramic sauna, a (rather) small sun deck, and a whirlpool. The latter is at treetop level, so the trees seem almost within reach while you're in the pool. Opening times vary; you can find them in the morning paper at breakfast, which also includes excursion tips and other information. For €25 per day, you can rent Cube e-bikes and enjoy fantastic tours. The hotel's location is superb. You can either start hikes and tours directly from the hotel or drive to a trailhead parking lot within 15-45 minutes. The hotel provides the South Tyrol Holidaypass free of charge. This allows you to use all public transportation and some mountain lifts free of charge.

+ The hotel is located in a very quiet area, where silence reigns supreme. The hotel managers are truly wonderful and go out of their way to ensure guest satisfaction, as do the staff. We stayed from August 17th to 19th and were pampered, both with the room—very beautiful and, above all, always spotlessly clean—and with the food, from breakfast to the lunch buffet and impeccable dinner. The spa area is small but well-maintained; we appreciated it, considering the hotel doesn't have a large number of rooms, so we found it more than adequate. The hotel is located just steps away from all the main hiking trails, where we were able to take some truly wonderful hikes above 2,400 meters—fantastic. To anyone unsure about this hotel, I can only recommend it; it's truly worth a visit. We'll definitely be back! I hope the owners continue to enjoy it like this!

+ Hello, We stayed at this wonderful hotel from October 24th to October 30th, 2021. The hosts and the entire team are very friendly. The hotel and the rooms are in immaculate condition. The hotel is very well located as a base for hikes or exploring South Tyrol. Our children had a lot of fun in the wellness area and in nature. Charging options for e-bikes were also no problem. Our daughter used the e-bike rental for €20; it was a very good Cube bike for the price. The breakfast is very varied, including freshly squeezed juice. The afternoon snack was also delicious. The 5-course menu was very good and always offered a choice of main course. We would love to return to this beautiful hotel in the winter to ski at Kronplatz. The value for money is excellent. The wellness area is fantastic. Children are very welcome. And if you have a request, they try to accommodate it. Late checkout was no problem, and we were invited to the pool after checkout... The wellness center was quite chaotic in the late afternoon, with a rather scattered layout of saunas and relaxation areas, and unfortunately, the outdoor spaces were limited. On Sunday, with departures, the wellness center was all to ourselves, and it was really, really nice!

+ We first stayed at the hotel three years ago and were already thrilled. However, the wonderful memories were even more memorable this time. The hospitality of ALL the staff is simply fantastic. You feel like part of a big family the moment you enter the hotel! The new spa area is also beautiful, especially the amazing view. Especially with the varied 3/4 board, the value for money is simply unbeatable. We also particularly like the "sustainability factor." Every room has solid soap and shampoo that produce no packaging waste. The quality of these products is simply top-notch. You can also fill up your bottled water at any time, whether in the spa or in your room. Generally, care is taken to use regional products. For example, the milk comes from Bruneck and the eggs from a nearby farmer. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday in the tranquil forest setting and have already booked for next year!

The wellness area is small but nice and very clean. A lot of wood is used here, too, to create a cozy atmosphere. The food was fantastic, from the buffet to the menu and dessert, whether for breakfast, a snack, or dinner. It's also a great base for excursions or hikes. We'd gladly return.

They literally anticipate our every need, and special requests—if any arise—are fulfilled with the same dedication. We have rarely experienced staff who, day after day, passionately make their guests' stay as pleasant as possible. The service goes far beyond the norm—in a positive sense. You literally feel like you're staying with friends. The food and the quality of the dishes are second to none. The 5-course dinner in the evening is the perfect way to round off any vacation day. All in all, highly recommended, and it definitely won't be our last stay at this hotel.

+ We were guests at the hotel at the beginning of September and cannot understand some of the bad reviews. Everyone was super friendly from the reception to the service at breakfast and dinner. The cleaners are quick and work very neatly! The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. Here you get all-round service in one of the most beautiful areas in the world. The food is very tasty and always freshly prepared. An alternative was always provided for my friend who follows a vegan diet. We can recommend the hotel with a clear conscience and will happily come back for a holiday ourselves.

+ The hotel is located in a very quiet and peaceful area on the edge of the woods. Beautiful walks are within walking distance. Upon our arrival, we were greeted with extreme kindness and everything was explained to us in great detail. The welcome glass of prosecco was very much appreciated. The property has undergone several renovations over the years, achieving a very modern look while retaining a large amount of wood. Our room was beautiful, clean, equipped with every comfort, and meticulously maintained. The spa area on the top floor was quiet and very relaxing. The breakfast and dinner buffets were a bit confusing and not perfectly curated, but they offered an excellent selection. The dinner menu offered a wide variety of dishes, but perhaps the portions were a bit too small. The wine list was interesting, but obviously with a hotel markup. I was delighted to find my birthday table decorated with a small gift. The staff was friendly and professional. Prices were in line with the quality of the property.

+ Beautiful hotel. The hotel is extremely refined in every detail. Excellent and plentiful breakfast buffet. During breakfast, you can choose your second course for the evening. The staff is truly pleasant and professional. We had a great time with a waitress named Lycra, a Romanian who was very friendly and attentive with the children. The hotel has a beautiful indoor and outdoor pool and a wellness center that is free, except for massages, of course. And you're immersed in nature and surrounded by walking trails for all levels. A special thanks to the owners, who are always present and attentive to everyone. Highly recommended, and I will return.

+ I stayed in this hotel about a week ago for my usual summer holiday in the mountains with family and friends. The hotel presents itself well, with well-kept and refined furnishings, with sufficient conviviality spaces, the swimming pool with an indoor part and an outdoor part with hydromassage is satisfactory. However, I would like to point out some negativities that I consider important as I have good experience of the areas as I have been going to the area for 6 years. The cuisine leaves a little to be desired with some dishes certainly excellent but I am average but I am not satisfied knowing the local cuisine. Another thing is that a 4 star hotel cannot continuously recycle the buffet with dishes from the day before, I can understand it for one/two dishes but this happened for almost the entire buffet. The breakfast is bordering on sufficiency. Then I would like to remind the property that we are in Italy and it is not possible that at the BAR service there is not a person who speaks correct Italian, it is usually also a place where we are entertained to chat. The wine list with high starting prices does not reflect the quality of the cuisine. Also you can't fly everywhere in the room and at the buffet on the food. Except Nadine's kindness, professionalism and efficiency. Greetings

+ About ten days ago we were in Alto Adige for the first time and stayed at Die Natural. An enchanting place, immersed in total relaxation and nature. The staff were exceptional, discreet, professional and very, very friendly. Excellent food and the spacious and super clean rooms equipped with every type of comfort, have large terraces with a "Heidi" view The owners are two wonderful people, welcoming and with a deep customer focus. The hotel has a strategic position that allows you to easily reach the enchanting places of South Tyrol, furthermore the staff is always available to highlight the shortest and most comfortable routes that allow you to reach your destinations. We were willing to travel another 1000 km after 10 days to return again but everything was already booked for the week of August. A hotel that is really worth staying in! + It was good! The problem with reviews is that they are of course subject to a subjective component. People tend to compare new experiences with old ones, so evaluations are clearly dependent on what has already been experienced. So it happens that “Die Waldruhe” does a lot of things right, but not a lot perfectly. + very clean rooms + reasonable prices, solid midfield for wellness hotels + easily accessible, large gravel parking lot in front of the house + Ebikes to rent (against payment) + very good coffee + friendly staff + Free public transport card for the duration of the visit + cheap massages - Breakfast buffet could be more extensive (no croissants, no salmon, little selection of cheese, etc.) - no air conditioning (unfortunately a no-go in this price category) - Checkin counter not always manned, our taxi driver had to call 3 times, at a normal time (not very relevant, but for the sake of completeness..) - Comparatively manageable wellness area, a small pool in the adult section for approx. 6 people, the sauna opens late (from midday) - unclear table allocation in the evening and morning. Apparently it is desired that the same space is always occupied. Other hotels solve this issue by simply labeling the guests' names - rather dark buffet room - no car rental on site/nearby (sports car, convertible or similar) - unstable WiFi with short range - Minibar empty - no cosmetic utensils in the bathroom - no thin curtains, basically all or nothing in terms of brightness and visibility. - Window cannot be tilted if there are curtains in front of it, unfortunately weak especially in combination with no air conditioning. - Light on the balcony cannot be extinguished itself, apparently switches off automatically at some point at night - not an adult-only hotel. Conclusion: The Waldruhe is a good wellness hotel that, apart from minor issues (climate!), corresponds to the price. The “problem” is simply the selection in the region. South Tyrol offers many top wellness hotels, some of which offer significantly more in almost all areas. This is usually accompanied by a higher price. Ultimately, you have to decide for yourself whether it is worth this extra charge.

Il resto dell'albergo è arredato con stile e con gusto moderno e allo stesso tempo caldo e accogliente. Il personale è gentile e discreto, credo con una sola eccezione. L'area wellness è accogliente e ovunque è molto pulito. Il cibo abbondante anche se per le mie abitudini un po' elaborato.

Our little dog, Pierre, was traveling with us and was greeted with a smile by the entire hotel staff. We stayed in Suite 501 with a private sauna, truly beautiful. + The hotel is meticulously maintained, very modern, and boasts a contemporary interior and exterior design. The customer service is also excellent: all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The primary language is German, but Italian is also spoken fluently within the hotel. Checkout is by 10:00 AM, but guests can continue to use the entire spa area and pools, including the towels and bathrobes provided by the hotel, at no additional cost for the rest of the day.

Too many flies both in the rooms and in the food court. The food isn't 4-star. Meager. Free bike rental and €20 e-bike. Nice pool, half indoor and half outdoor, with two saunas and a huge Turkish bath. Lastly, the helpfulness and courtesy. A+ if you speak German, a 10, and a 3 if you speak Italian. We're not as well-regarded as many places in the Puster Valley. And that's why I won't be returning.

+ Insgesamt ein tolles Hotel, welches modern und 'gut in Schuss' ist: 1. Wir hatten das Eckzimmer im dritten Stock (Zimmer 309), welches hell und von der Aussicht her wohl das beste Zimmer im ganzen Hotel ist. Im Badezimmer gab es genug Abstellfläche und auch Aufhängemöglichkeiten. 2. Gratis-Parkplätze. 3. Die Qualität des (Abend-)Essens war generell sehr gut. 4. Pool- und Saunabereich ist ansprechend. 5. Generell kinderfreundliches Hotel, tolles Kinderspielzimmer

+ Friendly staff. Quite expensive, the surroundings mediocre. Rooms offer little, but the bathrooms are fantastic. Internet is slow. Sauna/wellness area is very nice. Food is a matter of taste, but plentiful and varied. Lots of children.

Wellnessangebot ist sehr einladend und professionell, es fiel uns schwer nach 2 Wochen Superluxusurlaub das Hotel zu verlassen, aber mit Sicherheit kommen wir wieder!! Das Essen war sehr abwechslungsreich und sehr sehr lecker und der Service war stets zuvorkommend und überhaupt sind wir jetzt große "Naturhotel zur Waldruhe" Fans!! Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!!

+ Stets sehr freundliches Personal, trotz voller Belegung. Schöner Nassbereich, wo man sich nicht ekeln muss!!! Geschmackvolle und sehr saubere Zimmer. Das Essen ist auch eine Granate...jeden Tag ein wunderbares Essen serviert bekommen. Dieses Hotel kann man guten Gewissens weiter empfehlen.
